A small bug fix and a new look.


Fixes: 

Fixed a bug where if you blow yourself up with the rocket launcher the game would award you a kill.


Added:

Toon shader with outline.

Different footstep sounds

Mouse sensitivity option in the main menu under the options tab.
This should save automatically and will be added to the in game pause menu for the next update.

Credits screen in the main menu. I use some 3rd party sound effects in the game and the creators of these are listed there.

I've just uploaded a small update to incorporate feedback.

Fixes:

Fixed a bug when bots kill a the player or another bot and flip to chase status as if they'd only lost sight of their target.
Bots now either search for health pickups if they have low health , attack another target if one is in range/line of sight or flip to patrol state and look for another target.
Correctly orientated spawn points so players shouldn't spawn facing a wall anymore.
Stopped the player from moving/looking around when the game ends.

New stuff:

Added a pause game menu 

Added more projectiles to the shotgun

slightly nerfed bot speed. only slightly though......

Added version number to the main menu

I'll orientate the spawn points to face a more sensible direction and get the spawning logic to make players/bots face that orientation.
I never noticed this to be honest :)

I'll work on making the UI more complete and balancing the game for a while.
I'll have to figure out a Joypad and KB/Mouse friendly UI so people can use either to navigate the game options menus, (most of the in game controls are already mapped to joypad but I didn't finish mapping them all because I need to buy a new pad to test it).

Typing numbers in doesn't really work with a joypad but I do understand it's not ideal clicking arrows to get what you want.

Changes:

Added a wider spread to the shotgun to nerf it a little.

Added more damage to the handgun to try and balance things out.

Added explosion sounds to the rockets.

Menu UI fixed misaligned buttons

Made changes to the way the game starts.
Previously, bots spawned and began roaming the map before the countdown was complete.
Now they spawn at the same time as the player can start moving.

Each time I upload a new build I'll post details of what's changed here.

The controls feel weighty and the environment is nice.

Good variety of weapons.

Too easy though, all I had to do was stand on top of the taxi and none of the zombies could damage me.

Also, I'd remove the mobile UI from the windows version...
