The version automatically reverts to version 1.111.1 when I start a game, so... And it's in this version that I'm experiencing the bug.
I'm going to try your thing for the openrouter.

(2 edits)

Okay. I'll try that later...

Because right now I can't play the game at all. I'm putting Qwen 3.5 and  the bug occurs.
I switch to Gama 4 Sparse, and the characters stay with the three dots for minutes.
So I tried OpenRouter, but it won't accept Apikeys.
So I think I'll wait a bit..

Okay, so no, the bug is back.

But I have a feeling it's because Koboldcpp isn't up to date. Because when I changed the version of Koboldcpp to install in the settings.json file, to the new one, it fixed it. Incidentally, because the AI was still glitching and saying weird things.
They were talking to each other in the first and third person... in short, it was strange.

No, it's okay, it seems to be working again.
Even though what I'm saying might sound stupid but, if one AI has more RAM than another, won't it necessarily perform better?
Or is Gemma-4-Sparse really is better than Qwen3.5?

Does anyone have this problem ?

While I was playing, I noticed the AI was starting to talk nonsense. So I tried uninstalling Qwen 3.5 and reinstalling it, thinking that might fix it... But now I have this problem. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, but I still have the same problem.

No worries, I know it's somewhere in the snowy mountains near the ice fortress, but I want to try searching for it myself... Thanks anyway. Oriana is truly a mystery.

Hi, (I'm not english, so please don't mind any sentence mistakes I make...)  :)

First of all, I want to say that this is a really good game and, honestly, I didn’t expect to spend this much time on it. The immersion, even if it can be problematic sometimes, is really good and the characters are cool. At first, I had actually cracked the game, but then I thought “why not support it and buy it?” — so that’s what I did. Which is honestly very rare for me, just so you know.
Even though the game is already going in a very good direction, and I hope it stays that way, there are obviously some small issues. So I’m going to happily point them out.
I just want to remind people that this is only my personal opinion and you may totally disagree with me. I’m simply expressing my thoughts and I’m not forcing anything on anyone.
Now that’s done, here’s the feedback (this is the first time I’ve ever made feedback, so don’t expect something incredible...) :

Feedback based on a relaxed mode, version 1.6.6c, on a 15 day playthrough using GPU Qwen 3.5.

- AI :

I think the AI is really good for an early stage. Unfortunately, I’m getting tired of everyone repeating things like “Oh my god, outside is dangerous.” (and many other similar situations repeating over and over), even though I killed 3 blue slimes, 2 golems and 1 ice elemental in a single day.
I also find it both cool and annoying that, for example, when I talk to Celandine and during the conversation she walks into the water while I stay stuck in place, it’s actually really immersive because we visually see her doing it, but at the same time we remain frozen.
Also, I find it really annoying that, for example, if it’s raining and Rosalyne tells me to come inside the house, when I’m standing right outside her door, I leave the conversation and enter the house to talk to her again, but it feels like she completely forgot what just happened. So when I talk to her again she says something like (I’m exaggerating but you get the point): “Hello again, what were you doing outside? It’s raining and you’re soaked, come warm yourself up...” etc.
Overall, if possible, the AI should remember the previous conversation (+ the amount of time that passed since then) so conversations feel more realistic and less NPC-like.
Also, and this is very important, Aldric seems to be the only one bugging when I try to trade with him. Every other character, when I ask them to give me something, if they can, they answer “yes, here you go” and I receive the item (even though sometimes it bugs for them too). But Aldric really struggles to give items.
For example, I give him an orange slime and he says “Thanks, I’ll give you 100 coins.” Unfortunately, he never gives them to me. And this happened multiple times.
So the whole system where AIs give items or rewards to the player probably needs some work, because it’s pretty sad to go hunting and receive nothing in return.

(PS: Aldric owes me around 2000 coins now… :( )

- Conversations :

Since we’re talking about conversations, I think it would be better to have more facial expressions for the characters (or poses… one of the two).
I had an idea while watching One Piece and playing your game at the same time: it would be cool to have, if possible, some kind of black-and-white image or drawing showing what’s happening.
For example, if I’m simply talking with someone, the image could show two black silhouettes talking on a white background. Or if an AI gives me coffee, food, or something else, the image could show one silhouette handing something to another. You get the idea...
Of course, this is only a suggestion from me, but since I noticed there’s a lot of empty space above the text, I thought it could maybe be used.
I also think it feels a bit weird having to scroll through text while there’s still so much empty space in the middle of the screen. That’s where the image idea came from.

- Combat System :

Change it… I honestly still don’t know if I’m supposed to attack with left click, right click or the E key. And parrying feels impossible.
I think you can leave the combat system for later though. It’s annoying, but still playable.

- Enemy Mobs :

ALRIGHT NOW WE NEED TO TALK…
I don’t know how the people living there survive because holy shit they are the luckiest people alive.
Every time I go outside I get surrounded by an insane number of slimes, and then not even 5 meters later more enemies spawn again.
Please remove the “slow” effect from slimes, or at least only give it to stronger ones. Because right now it feels horrible.
Reduce the power of the ice elementals, or reduce how many there are. I literally ended up in a 1v3 against them and got 2-shot while wearing full armor.
To summarize for mobs: make them spawn farther away from the roads, because right now it’s too much. Dangerous monsters should be farther away from Silverpine to increase the feeling of danger. And please work on the spawn rate / spawning system in general.

- Environment :

If we can find branches on the ground, it would make sense to also be able to collect stones from the ground.
Please let us walk over branches. The amount of times I almost lost my mind because tiny branches blocked me while trying to kill slimes is uncountable.

- Other / Miscellaneous :

Movement feels really weird sometimes. Occasionally my character moves fast, then suddenly slows down for no reason.
Orson might be a bit too far away, or maybe there should simply be fewer enemy mobs on the roads. I wasted 2 healing potions just to go talk to him, and I really don’t want to do that many back-and-forth trips.
I imagine that for now we can only explore Silverpine. But I really hope we’ll be able to visit other locations later, like the capital of Thalassar.

- CONCLUSION :

I probably forgot some things, but whatever… despite the flaws, I really enjoyed the game. Keep going… seriously… I’m excited to see how far this can go.

- (Funny anecdote) :

I want to know Oriana’s true identity because there is NO WAY she’s a mortal.
So Oriana is supposedly Celandine’s more serious sister. While talking with her, she told me she goes praying in the snowy mountains… where the ice elementals are…
First of all, I have no idea how she even reaches the mountain without meeting monsters. I asked if I could go pray with her just to see. We can ask AIs to follow us, but they can’t ask us to follow them properly speaking. So the conversation is basically Oriana telling me “I’m leaving at this hour, follow me if you can.”
And let me tell you: it is IMPOSSIBLE to follow her.
She moves as fast as you do, except she doesn’t slam into obstacles every two seconds like we do. (And monsters completely ignore her too.) It’s genuinely difficult to keep up with her…
Seriously, how does she even get there? Does she teleport or something…
No really, she CAN teleport. This woman made me restart so many times just so I could try following her, only for her to randomly disappear in front of me sometimes...
Even though it made me want to rip my hair out multiple times, I had a really good laugh imagining that Oriana isn’t actually Celandine’s sister, but some higher life form pretending to be her.
That’s my theory…

Anyway, I wish you a good evening and, most importantly, good health.
