Minor update. It would appear that using the dedicated Neo Geo Rom also doesn't work with the BackBit Platinum Cartridge. It just gets hung up on the intro screen (disclaimer)

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that using the MAME version of the Beta, I can't get passed the Intro Screen using my BackBit Platinum Cartridge

Just a quick heads up, using the MAME version, this does work on a BackBit Platinum Cartridge. Liking the new Burger Edition a lot!

Loving the demo, great work! I also wanted to let you know that the MAME romset works just fine using the BackBit Platinum cartridge. Which leads to the question, when is the full version going to be released?

Wow, the new soundtrack and samples really do seem to make the Neo Geo CD version the definitiv version of Golden Axe. Hats off for the amazing work and thank you so much for the effort you put into this and your other conversions!

This is an excellent port of one of my all time favorite games and I would just like to say thank you very much for this! When I compare it to my bootleg PCB, the ninja star sound is the only real difference I noticed. Not only that, but the added options/cheat are amazing. What a time to be a NeoGeo CD SD Loader owner... can't wait for you to finish "grinding your axe" ;-)
