Hello! Is 'It Sleeps Below the Haar' a prequel to 'The Black Iris' (in the same universe, anyway), or are they unrelated?

So far I'm loving the game and the world you've created, but the green pixel filter gives me literal headaches and makes it soooo much harder to see stuff as you're running around. Is there any way we can get an option to turn it off please?
