Thank you! Very happy you liked it. Yeah, it is extremely confusing in the beginning. I'll definitely have to find a better way to introduce how to play the game :))

Thanks a lot for your feedback! I'm definitely going to do that at some point :))

Thank you so much! And thanks for sharing you play through! How did you manage to skip every other level?? 🤯

Thanks a ton!

Wow thanks for such an overwhelmingly positive comment. Very happy you liked it!

Oh noo I'm sad to hear! Communicating how to play can be so difficult! The idea is that when you type a letter, the square will move to that letter and you are supposed to type the word "INSANE", in that order.

Love golf games! I like the idea of not having full control of the aim direction. I think increasing the rotation speed would make it a little more engaging. I got a bit impatient waiting for the arrow to point in the right direction. Also, a visual indicator for how much force (other than just a number) is applied would be cool. Good job!

Nice art but pretty short experience. Fun idea though!

Cool idea. It seems I can also select colors different from what I'm asked for? Maybe it would be more fun if there was less time choosing the colors?

Fun idea! It was a little unclear for me what I was supposed to do, and even when I finally understood, it was still hard not to get killed immediately. I think it would help if the yellow square was placed a bit further away from the player, and if it had a slower speed to begin with. But once I managed to get moving, it was quite fun! Good work!

Thanks! Glad you liked it!

Thank you so much!

Thanks! Yeah I was worried about that too. Thank you for taking your time playing!

Thanks so much for playing the game and for your feedback! Yes, the videos are all from TikTok :)

(1 edit)

Thanks so much for playing, glad you enjoyed it! Yep, the game ends after the goblin fight, I guess I didn't have time to add more content after that point.

I tried making a web-build but it didn't work for some reason ://

Ahh yes I see! No need to apologise, you only had three hours to make this. It was fun to try out :))

Looks cool, but I am unable to interact with game aside from moving the windows around. Am I doing something wrong?

This is fun! At first I thought I was only supposed to click off the ads, but then I realized I could also control the spaceship. Very nice sound effects too!

Hey! thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback!

No I wasn't left by an artist, I was on my own from start to finish. I didn't draw art (aside from the player) because it helped me spare some time and I also thought it suited the word "blank" in the theme quite well. The story and game idea then came after :))

I'm happy to hear that it was clear that the drawing mechanic was there to help you navigate the level. That they disappear is definitely not intended though! I'm sorry, that must have been quite frustrating.

Yes you are absolutely right, I should have made a 'click to continue' prompt. Especially since most of the games' content is just text. I just didn't have the time to implement it.

I'm glad you made it though even though the impro track was annoying (among other things). I guess it served its' purpose haha :))

Woow this is a really interesting interpretation of the word 'blank' from the theme! I'm really impressed you managed to make this much in such a short time! I find this to be a really fun and refreshing way to control where blocks land.

I found that it is a bit difficult to control where the blocks land because they fall rather quickly after they spawn. Also, sometimes I can't see where it is before it starts to fall and so I won't know what type of block will land or where it will land.

But when the bricks land the way I want them then it is really satisfying. I feel quite like a pro when I manage to land it so that it is right above the players head haha.

I think this idea has a lot of potential! Maybe it would be interesting to make it into a co-op two player game where one controls the character and the other controls the tetris blocks? Just an idea :))

I never managed to do it, but do you get points when filling up an entire row?

Ah cool! I have now just uploaded as html5 and it's working! Thanks a lot :))

There have been some issues with  the windows build. I have now just created a web build and it seems to be working fine! Thank you all your help!

Nono there is an actual playable thing, but I'm you like it even though you can't play it haha :)) Hmm the Godot documentation said that I had to export a .pck file for Windows, but I probably have misunderstood something. Thanks for giving it another try!

Oh, that's annoying, thanks for the heads up! I have tried to upload a .pck file now, maybe that runs?

Hey, I made a game for the jam but I missed the deadline.  Is it still possible to get it uploaded? :) Here is my entry: https://grunkin.itch.io/an-unusual-cup-of-coffee. Have a nice birthday week!
