Is it even possible to unlock skeleton to be playable from the start menu via gameplay means? I read through the FAQ, and it seems to imply that once you complete the process once (dying as melting while in the necromancers summoning circle) it will be unlocked on the start menu as any other character would be, but it doesn't seem entirely clear. As opposed to the normal game wherein you only get skeleton for the run you become it.
Also, I'm going in largely blind (purposefully) and I'm on the last stable u99 version but I couldn't seem to trigger it. I was playing co op so could that perhaps have had something to do with it? Do you need to lose all of your hp in the circle or just die? I was using the super bazooka to blow myself up and I tried like 5 times in a row and I didn't become skeleton.
I've put a lot of time into unlocking everything manually and I'm not yet finished so I'd rather not have to wipe all my stats just to get skeleton if there is another way (than just taking the unlocked everything path).
