not dead, the patreon ver is up to 0.9.0 (released may 19th) whilst here is 0.7.0, which means logically 0.8.0 should be released here soon-ish...im hoping anyway, im not a patreon supporter so idk

it's a purchase so once you buy it, the licence is on your acc for all updates. That is how Itch works
