You can use the assets I used, they are from a website I listed in the description of the game’s page. I have two other prototypes that I made myself and a group project here on itch.

And talking about time I found it really helpful to make a small document and/or a trello board to keep track of everything I wanted to do. Also prioritising essential things that the game needs in order to function and then moving on to less and less important parts (look for the MoSCoW method). Hope this helps you too.

Thanks for the feedback! Yea the restart button is a great idea. I actually wanted to make the respawn snappy so it doesn’t feel slow and tedious but I didn’t think about having to wait in some cases. Glad you enjoyed it regardless.

Very fun movement based game and a perfect choice of art design to go with it! Hopefully you keep working on this or something similar. PS: Bullets were lagging my game sometimes.

In my opinion you found the best way to make the theme into a fun game, very creative. Art style and sound design is very pleasing as well. Hopefully you keep working on this in the future!

Love the idea of the hourglass and the sand physics! Hope you keep working on this in the future.

Great art style and music! I really enjoyed the gameplay loop and diverse mechanics too. Main menu button was not clickable after escaping. Thanks for sharing!

Great game! I really like the music and once I figured out the talking mechanic I was hooked! Hope you make more levels in the future. I also appreciated Mitzi saying "Uh hello!" when swapping from DS to talking, great design.

Cool idea! Nerve racking but in a fun way. Loved the sound design and the old tv effect, makes it feel more immersive. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the feedback! Yea I had a couple more things I wanted to add but ran out of time of course haha. Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for the feedback! Yea  I wish I added more indications on where to go at the start but glad you liked it!

Thanks for your feedback! I definitely should have added more guidance but glad you enjoyed it regardless.
