Yeah, I fully agree with level 3, hopefully it didn't ruin your experience too much!

Yes, clearing a flag by reaching the top of the screen is intentional. Having it so that you can continue off screen made it feel like a bug, and respawning at the previous flag felt like a punishment.

So clearing the flag when going off screen felt like the best way of solving that.
