Yeah that is what I thought it would give as a option too! In the object manager as for now, if I select a unwanted model, and right click it I only get a menu with: Rename, Copy, Paste and Delete.
I really have no wish to delete the 3D models, but it would be great to at least be able to select the ones to use as it allowed me in the previous versions. It is a bit confusing haha! I really appreciate you coming with a genuine good advise tho!

First, thank you for such a cool software! I love using it!
Tho I stumbled upon something in the latest update that was a bit tricky to figure out~
I have the default old models + my own models in the object manager, but I only want to select mine to be used. It seems like there is no way to make just a few models selected and I wonder if there might be a solution to this that I am just too oblivious to see somewhere xD;;,
