OK I finally resolved it. I need to NOT place the berries in any order and just hit craft. That seems to make four potions 

Are you playing the Android version? As I have the same issue. 

It's in the mastered tab. But it only makes three potions then ignores the four berries I have left and says I don't have any. Each time I re open the potion making screen the four berries are still in the inventory.

I'm playing on the Android version. Maybe I need to try the pc version instead, as the Android version is broken and won't let me finish the tutorial or skip it. Skipping just says "skipping" in the top left corner but nothing happens.

Day one quest to make the health potion. The game starts, sends you to the forest, then after you have to make 4 health potions. It's the intro to the game. 

I have an issue. I can't get past the first quest. I put 4 berries in the right position (nothing in 3) and I can make 3 potions but despite having four berries left, each time I put them in the correct order, it instantly changes to say I don't have enough ingredients. 

I saw someone else mentioned this yesterday. Maybe it's a bug in the latest version?
