I agree. There could be a short animation before falling off, like in void stranger, that allows to get back to the platform

The clover is the most common mutation, followed (kinda) closely by the fern (ofc you can’t mutate a fern into a fern, but you can mutate other plants into one). The last “common” (I did kinda mess up the mutation probabilities so they’re all way too rare) is the blackberry. I think after the jam I’ll update the game to crank up the mutation probabilities and maybe add a way to start the game with the plant of you choosing (except the super secret one)
Woah… Not only this amount of polish would already be insane for a 2 week gamejam, but it was made in 4 days! That’s unbelievable!
Apart from the desaturated/pastel color palette that makes things a bit hard to see (especially the fire that goes around the loop-de-loop), everything in this game is worth a 6 out of 5!
I don’t think you would’ve had enough time to implement this during the jam, but it would’ve been nice if we could see all the previous upgrades that we unlocked because sometimes I forgot what my abilities were.
Very cool game! I really like the idea of keeping clones from previous levels, it helps when you aren't able to find the optimal solution, and the process of obtaining these bonus clones can make the player understand an aspect of the mechanic that's necessary for the optimal solution that he didn't find! (that's a long sentence..)
