Played this while I was sick and tired so I was drifting in and out of consciousness which gave the work a nice surreal quality to it. Then when I made it back to the title screen I fell asleep for a little bit to your beautiful music. 10/10 would recommend experiencing the game under these conditions
I've been on a bit of a Christie kick lately (watched the 1974 adaptation of Murder on the Orient Express with a friend, read And Then There Were None, have more books downloaded), thanks in part to Hyouka and Classroom of the Elite (it's funny how many anime are fascinated with Christie), so this was a very fun little time! I think Agatha would approve of this game, she seems like she was a bit of a wildcard.
"This is such a calming, peaceful game. It captures the specific slice-of-life emotional state of relaxing in a vista so well. It makes me feel like—wait, what's happening? What did that warning at the beginning say again? Oh god."
Also, the choice of music was brilliant. It's such a simple piece, but that makes it versatile enough to adapt to the emotion of the story line-by-line. It starts out feeling tranquil, and then sad, and then at the end has this bittersweet, "in memoriam" feel.
Beautiful game all around <3
