A simple idea but very well executed. Super easy to use. Nice job

Thoroughly unpleasant. Very reminiscent of real stories of people being trapped in tight cave openings. 1d6 just for getting stuck seems a bit much to me if 1d4 is getting stabbed with a knife.

Ha! Great take on the classic cube of gelatinous death.

I like this room. I would have to come up with some reason the players would need a miniature sun. It would be cool to use this in a larger dungeon where the sun is needed in other rooms to make other things grow.

What a dismal place. I would definitely use this room in a Borg campaign. Reminds me of octopus species that disguise themselves as other creatures or coral or something.

Really evocative art. Usually this room will play out very silly but I expect my players will be thoroughly creeped out even if nothing bad happens at all.

Such a weird space but your visuals managed to convey it well. Love this room. Totally my vibe

Is there a Rose Knight in Mythic Bastionland? Very good encounter for that game.

I know it says "pass", but I have to admit, I did find the room pretty interesting the first time I read it and thought it said "piss."

Ah... I don't think the Docx file is actually carrying your formatting over. The cover image for the project does not match what I'm seeing. Everything is right-aligned. You should update the Download to have the PDF and the DocX.

Thanks! I have a big list of ways to improve this already but definitely leave a comment to let me know any changes you'd like to see. My wife forbade me from making it PWYW so this prototype version will likely be replaced with a better paid version some time in Q1 2026. I'm thinking ~8-12 US dollars.

This is a web-app. Go to the project page for the link.

This is so tactile. I could see a really cool table game that uses a giant version of this between the players. Like different players stop the big spinner at different times. Maybe the spinner could point to another player and the value of the spinner dictates what happens to them or something. It would be a similar kind of fun as "Uno" or "Spoons."

Does it come with the rubber duck?

Nice tool!

Nice distillation of several dozen blog posts on the identity of OSR. Would have been a great primer for me back in the day. If the goal is to expose more people to the OSR, then I'd like to see more links in the back for further reading. The Alexandrian link is a great seminal post but things like Ben Milton's video on what is OSR and the Principia Apocrypha are great gateways to get people into the scene.

Page 23 seems like it was accidentally left in.

Damn, I really could have used this like two years ago.

I literally have my own oracle based on the I Ching but naturally, yours is completely different. Goes to show how different people can come up with radically different interpretations despite starting with the same, seemingly narrow inspiration.

There are easier ways to generate a hex map for Mythic Bastionland but an Affinity template puts a lot of power in the user's hands. This might be the best way if you want something particular or have some design skills.

Makes me want to switch to wordpress.

It's always cool to see how a person's unique experiences effect their games and designs.  MOSAIC is also a really cool initiative, I love to see it represented. It's easy to overlook really small supplements like this but as a GM, things like MOSAIC supplements have a much higher chance of actually being useful at the table.

I would do the layout a lot differently but maybe the current way is easier for some people to read.

My wife forbade me from making it PWYW so this prototype version will likely be replaced with a better, paid version some time in Q1 2026. I'm thinking ~8-12 US dollars. I still have a lot of ideas for improvement before I attach a price to it, though. Some ideas below, none of which are promises:

- Animated Landing page

- Canvas State Saves

- Improved section layout readability (Further reduce cluttered nodes and link crossings generated)

- More Connection Profiles for finer control over randomized room links

- Icons to represent each room type and bonus feature.

- A preference that will suggest Dungeon types to you depending on your layout using my own framework for classifying dungeons. Link to that article forthcoming)

- Re-rollable Spark table integration at the Dungeon, Section, and Room levels to inspire dungeon designs.

- New Green aesthetic theme (core)

- 2 new themes optimized for dyslexia  accessibility (core)

- DLC theme packs for different RPGs and genres which overhaul the aesthetic and inspiration spark tables per theme.

- Patreon integration for supporters to get free theme packs. Link to join the Gram-ily is forthcoming.

If you encounter any bugs or have your own ideas about how to make it better, comment below. I appreciate you taking a look.
