I came across some interesting behavior that I didn't see noted in the tutorial, so my first thoughts are that this must be some sort of bug; asked a friend who completed the game and he confirmed he hadn't seen this when he was playing the game.
This clip is me attempting to jump and run, but you can of course see that I'm not jumping very high at all.gpena1
