found thhis while going through itchio and this is great. it's simple, but also one of the funnest 2D platform experiences i've had, even in such a small time.

controls feel tight and the way you deal with enemies is also very fun and interesting from a mechanics point of view. you either need a pair of enemies in order to disable enemies for the current area or a charge in your bar to do so with you only being able to stun them otherwise and of course you need to use your charges and enemies to heal which adds a small factor of risk to healing and creates a fun push and pull.

the difficulty is also quite nice, not super easy but not trying to be a hard video game either, the boss was really fun in that regard.

the art and characters are also very nice both on the pixel art and more high resolution art as well.

overall really nice and i hope that this gets an update at some point :]

i've tried to look up how to get the pickaxe and the only thing i can find is people (including the wiki) saying something along the lines of "it is found at the bottom of the lake near O tower" the problem is you cannot swim down as far as i can tell and float upwards if you go too far down in the water. i've tried riding my atv down there and it almost works but would be hard to do without losing the atv in the process. i've also tried using the hook and the other thing you can use to pickup objects that you can find. does anyone know how you can get the pickaxe.
