Hi there, a lot of your questions can be answered by saying: You make it up yourself. This is ultimately a rules light journalling and exploration game which is guiding you to create your own story rather than a game with strict mechanics.
To address each of your points individually; Favours are only a suggestion - they are wholly narrative and you as the writer decide whether it makes sense or is interesting to include or not. You can make it whatever you like, it's your decision. You could use the city table to decide where they might send you and hope that you roll it again when Exploring the City. Or it might be something that you do in the same area; its entirely up to you to determine what they might want from you (and the information provided on the Makers List is there to help with this decision).
When you Explore the City, the city table is intended to help you to write about the new area you have just entered - you may happen upon an event, get a feeling you get as you wander the streets, make a judgement about the architecture or someone you might meet. Note that each column is rolled separately rather than all entries on one line being a set. For example if you rolled to enter the Stadium, and wanted some extra things to write about, you could then roll for Theme, Event, Story, or any combination of the three for supplementary info to inform your journaling when you write your Diary entry at the end of the day.
For example: If you rolled Money, Sneak, and Busker, you may wish to comment on how opulent or expensive the area looks, or that you spotted someone sneaking around some parked cars, or how you enjoyed the music being played by a street performer, or all of them. This table is totally optional and is just there to help inform your storytelling. You are not forced to roll, because its ultimately your game and if you are inspired to make up your own details based off the area then you can absolutely do that. If you want to play in such a way that you have to roll, then you are free to do that as well and create it as a house rule for yourself.
With extracting information, again you would make those questions up/ ask them depending on what information you need. One example might be that you could ask someone where to find one of the people on the Maker's List, then Beseech Lilith as an out of character action to determine whether they know or not. If they do know, that would be useful information for you in-character.
The token is simply used as a place marker to show your position on the card map that you create as you play so you don't lose your spot. That one I did forget to mention!
