Did actually read what I said or did you just immediately refute it since it conflicts with your delicate world view.  I said with time because I personally know people that have gone through traumatic experiences and over time they have recovered.  I would like to point out that insulting people because of a fetish that they didn't choose to have is practically the same as racism.  Taking away their outlet that doesn't harm real human beings when they live in a world that makes them feel lesser, making it exceedingly difficult to talk through their problems, is only going to make them more likely to assault an actual child.  So while you may view people getting off to FICTIONAL children as disgusting I am sure you would have to agree that it is at least not as bad as them sexually assaulting real life child.  Side note since I see a lot of people make this mistake being a pedophile only means that you are attracted to children not that you have actually sexually assaulted one.

I would argue violence is worse as if a child is sexually assaulted (which isn't happening in this game as it is all presented as consensual) then while they my be traumatized, with time they will be able to recover. Whereas they will not be able to recover from being shot.

So instead of having a release that doesn't harm anybody we should instead force people to bottle up their urges until they can't control themselves anymore and potentially end up harming a real living person
