I think the idea is great! I got stuck on level 5 though as I couldn't find a way to hit the thing on the ceiling. I also noticed it is very easy to get locked into a cycle of getting hit and hitting the grubs causing a good deal of damage. I think the game could use with more time to read the text at the beginning, probably just waiting until the player is ready, and some iframes certain places. I also feel like the square is a bit out of place with the rest of the aesthetic but idk if that is intended. Great game either way and I hope to play again once I can get past level 5.

The game seems fun but I wasn't able to get very far as it crashed a few times before I gave up. I think the slide idea is fun but should maybe just stick with happening when transitioning through environments, I feel like every time someone drops something off is kinda much. I really like the hand drawn style you have and all of the silly game knock offs. I also have found that the math seems to be off, idk what exactly was going on but when I got a customer everything they dropped off seemed to total 455 but the correct option was apparently 835. I also noticed that the games can appear under the laptop in both position and layering and it makes it look a bit strange. Over all I love where this is going and want to see more in the future.

I quite like the idea though it is tough to get used to.  I think the graphics and music are great and this is overall a great Game Jam game!

I think the art style is cool, though the gameplay is a bit rough at least on my end. It seemed pretty buggy including stuff like the player's gravity freezing sometimes when a jump is combined with getting hit and the enemy attacks seemed to be able to go through the terrain. It seems a bit weird to me that enemies could attack the player while they were on different y levels while tmk the player can't. It would also be appreciated if it had better mouse and keyboard controls. Over all though it seems like a really cool idea and I would love to play it again if you plan to polish it up after the jam.

Yeah, I have never dealt with sound so I didn't have enough time, but that is definitely coming

This is a really cool game! I wasn't able to get far because of my own struggles but it is something I will continue in the future!

Yes, for clarification I was referring to the enemies lol.

Gotcha, I honestly thought the enemies were intentionally really tanky.

Just wait, it will get worse lol

The graphics are intentionally made very simple, though I plan to add in some sfx later. Yeah, it could use with some sound but I didn't have enough time unfortunately.

I really like this idea, the whole premise of falling back down was unexpected given the aesthetic but definitely a welcome surprise. I think it could use with some theme music if you continue with it and maybe a main menu screen but overall I think it is really effective in execution. I will definitely try playing some more if I get into a video game mood again. Current highest is 7.

If you did play in fullscreen then it is possible the controls were misinterpreted. I made the same mistake at one point thinking you drag from the ball to anywhere on the screen. I found out later that you drag starting from anywhere on the screen, all that matters is the direction you drag.

I personally assume that the point of dying is that little bit of time where you haven't respawned yet, leaving your towers to fight for you.

I like the concept and definitely think you should continue with it. I don't know if it is intentional but I noticed that structures can't be built if one is destroyed on that space, I personally think that is a weird choice but could lead to interesting gameplay. I thought the music was a real jam and the controls are interesting. I look forward to your next steps.

I think this idea is super fun, took me a bit to figure out what to do, so it could use with some more explanation. Personally I couldn't play for too long because of the sensitivity being so high, but if it were able to be lower then I could see myself playing this for hours. Super fun idea.

I am not a huge fan personally but I believe that is more a personal preference thing. I like the Stardew-like fishing and I think the idea of dodging fish to get deeper is fun. The music is a blast as well, once again reminding me of Stardew Valley. I think adding the ability to expand the screen would be nice and maybe waiting to release the line again until input is given. I often found myself struggling to get the shop open because my line would hit a fish first. Overall I feel like you did well, congrats!

I think the game is pretty fun, definitely something just played a couple times. It could benefit from the ability to make it bigger in some way because of the text being so small. I think the graphics are pretty cool, I like the style of them and if you do work on the game more I think you should stick with this style.

I saw a ton of bugs that mostly appeared when starting the game and also spread throughout gameplay but using space bar got rid of them.
