This was such an interesting game!

I am not super familiar with the 2.5 RPG style so i found it very visually striking. I love the character art and the designs, they manage to be both very appealing but ordinary feeling in a wonderful relatable sense. The lighting on the beach was also particularly gorgeous.

The success of the game lies in the quality of writing and I really do believe that's where it shines. The dialogue felt natural but managed to leave room for a bit of mystery, incentivizing you to progress the story. I immediately felt quite attached to Mateo and wanted to see through his story as well!

Unfortunately I did run into a couple major bugs like my character getting stuck or just clipping through the floor.  I did have to restart a few times but managed to get to the part where you encounter the turtle.

I am greatly intrigued by the story told thus far and hope that you continue polishing the game so that we can see it to the end! Wonderful work.

Absolutely incredible work! I am absolutely blown away by how polished the whole game was. The tutorial was comprehensive and slightly ominous, setting the tone perfectly for the whole experience.  And the whole management aspect struck that perfect balance of being slightly stressful but ultimately very satisfying. As someone who loves playing with machinery in games, I was having the time of my life dealing with all the events. There is nothing better than getting to push a bunch of buttons and pull some levers.

The visuals and sound design were also just perfect. The low poly textured aesthetic worked incredibly well and everything felt so cohesive (I was particularly enamored by the model for the coffee machine, so detailed while still managing to stick to that consistent style). I was just so impressed the whole way through.

I managed to reach 120 years before getting cut off by the dreaded No Hope button but I will return because my god was it super fun. And thank you for including that pet the cat button.

The attention to detail throughout was just amazing. Seriously incredible job!

I really enjoyed my playthrough of Orbyter!

The visuals of the game are incredibly strong and I found of all the npcs (as well as the main character) to be incredibly charming. I think you guys came in with a very clear vision of what you wanted to do and did a wonderful job of executing it.

The actual gameplay was quite fun! I love a platformer with wall jump/climbing as a feature and as someone who is quite terrible at these kinds of games, the inclusion of both gliding as a mechanic as well as several checkpoints was deeply appreciated. I did run into an issue where I would occasionally fall inside of platforms and get trapped inside (maybe I am being punished for being bad at platformers, whose to say?)  and without the ability to restart or quit to the title, I did find myself reloading quite a bit.

But overall I had a really good time with it and I am now Scarf's No. 1 fan.

It was very cool getting to see this game in its early early stages and I am super impressed with how much you guys built upon the initial prototype!

I was also quite impressed with the variety in platforming, I think it is quite easy for platforming to get monotonous so the fact you included things like moving platforms and climbing walls to expand on it really stood out to me. I also like how different each stage was visually though I will admit the jump between them was a touch jarring at times, maybe the inclusion of a little screen/still to introduce the level and environment might be something to consider!

The writing of the game was charming and straightforward and it centered the themes of the jam effectively.

As for the visuals, I think the creatures are all really cute! And the sheer variety is definitely something to be proud of. I do think that levels like the second one fall a bit short considering how detailed others are but given the time frame I understand that the details of a beach are not the top priority.

Overall I think you all did a great job! :}

I really enjoyed my playthrough of the current version!

I think the visuals and world building of your game really shine. The environments and characters were obviously all crafted with a lot of thought and love. And I think it does a wonderful job of being fantastical while also grounding its themes within reality.

The actual gameplay shows a ton of promise! Unfortunately I did have to reload a couple times on account of I.R.I.S completely disappearing during the platforming sections but other than that the platforming itself was fairly smooth. If you plan on continuing this project than I would also love to see how you expand on the scanning mechanic as I think the flavor text of the world and its characters is really strong thus far.

It was a wonderful time overall and I hope we get to see more of I.R.I.S and Planet Pesto!
