It's more about the speed that you can do it. It takes like 10 seconds to get 8k and can be done repeatedly.

I found an infinite money glitch that is very easy to do. Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be a way to do spoiler tags on this site so I'm uncertain how to share it without just shoving it into everyone's eyeballs.

Water can be bought from the potion shop for 5 gold, and sold right back to the potion shop for 45. You can hold a maximum of 200 water at once, which means that each loop can earn you 8000 gold.
What do you do with the root poison? I got it from the poison dude after the cow lady asked me to get it, and then she asked me to use it to kill the roots, but I can't figure out how to use the stuff.
I did have a glitch earlier in the questline where the crystals that appear after you talk to the husband just up and vanished after I fought one of the rock monsters (so I never did the resonate thing on them), would that break anything.
