Thanks so much! We have fixed all the bugs and are adding features, hopefully get a full release in short order!

Enjoyed playing this game, even if Tucker is annoying little twerp at times :-) Sadly the game locked up on me and ended my run (the Feed TV button stayed on the screen when I left the room, I think because my mouse was still on it? not sure, then when I went back I couldn't feed it and then I couldn't move). Still, very on-theme and very cute!

Thanks! We're gonna try to do that :-) We've actually fixed all the bugs that folks have reported, and started adding new features (like seeing what letters you guessed!) and new items. Hopefully we'll be able to get it released soon!

Agreed, the black 'abyss' wedge really kills the game. We didn't get much time to make a balance pass at the game, so some items are probably way too powerful also! We are thinking about ways to add different downside wedges to the game that can be added to the wheel if you buy a particularly powerful item for example. Glad you enjoyed it! We're gonna fix all the bugs, add a ton more items and push it out as a general release.

thanks so much!

I feel ya!

congrats! We have never managed it! Definitely need to add a win screen, but lack of time prevented it.

We have since implemented the list of letters guessed, but obviously can’t update the game while jam voting is happening. I like idea of seeing the answer when you lose! Will add that to the todo list!

This was a ball of fun, you took the theme and ran with it. I was a little confused at the start but after a few scenes picked it up and it was satisfying to watch the final recording. Loved the voice acting too!

The ending caught me off guard, and now I have a tea stain on my sweater. Worth it though. I loved the moody atmosphere and diegetic UI. Can't wait to try all of the endings.

One more phone call and I think I would throw the phone at the wall! This game was so stress-inducing!

Very spooky! I'm not a fan of horror as I get scared easily, so once the bad things started happening I stopped playing :-D However, I did like the salamis joke.

I had zero luck getting past the first round! Dodging and aiming at the same time were apparently beyond my skill level :-) Unsurprising, I'm more of a turn-based game sort of player. However, the visuals and audio were very well done.

I'm also on a Mac, so I feel ya! We actually only submitted the web version and had to be told to upload a Window one *facepalm*

I think some of the answers are a little too hard, and one or two are buggy, but we can "fix that in post".  As for the Duck, I double checked and the code is still in there! :-) There are 16 items, and you only ever see three at a time, so it's probably not too surprising.

Pixel art has been my limit, l'm primarily a coder. I have painted a lot of miniatures for Warhammer though, and a surprising amount of the skill was transferable when I had an iPad and Pencil in my hand. New skill avenues for me to explore!

Hey, thanks for playing! The list of items was much longer than we had time to implement, sadly. However, we are strongly considering making this a full release, so who knows?

Tbh, the duck just gives you +1 spin, so kinda like an extra life? I dunno, it probably could've been stronger. Certainly we did ZERO balance passes on the game due to time (we all have jobs / college!)

LOL, I'm still gonna take it as a compliment :-D

Yeah, it's the algorithm to split things up into 12/14/14/12 ... it can't handle that particular clue, so we'll need to remove it. Thanks for flagging!

we are going to upload a new version with different music out of an abundance of caution

Not sure what you mean?

we found the music track here on Pixabay

was the word Chaucer missing? The list entry is good, so maybe there’s a length of answer bug …

You are correct, that is a bug! We found it at the last minute and frankly it was too complex to fix :-D I know that sounds dumb, but that was just how our algorithm worked for checking the solution.

As for the bankrupt wedge (or abyss wedge as we called it)--we didn't get enough time to implement features around it properly. For example, we were going to have artifacts that interacted with it, and there was a build where you wanted to ADD abyss wedges to your wheel to maximize the chances of hitting it. Something to come with the next version, I guess!

Thanks so much for playing!

Thanks! I had never done anything other than pixel art graphics before, but I have done a bit of painting from time to time so I found a program that let me paint :-)

Great, thank you!

That might be an _us_ problem, not a _you_ problem -- the answers might just be too hard to get!

Thanks! Yeah, we think it has actual game potential, if we add like 50+ more artifacts and wedges you can buy, and a few thousand more puzzles :-D

Yeah, I worried that the answers were too hard! It was even harder when we didn't give you the category (feature added at ... 2 hours until deadline?) :-)

Sounds good, pushed the fix

We were able to fix the soft lock vowel problem! We'll add the letters thing later, because it's a new feature and not a hotfix (which would violate the jam rules).

We have a new build that addresses a soft lock state (Our game is like Wheel of Fortune, and you could guess all the consonants and have only the vowels left, and then not be able to solve the puzzle). Are we OK to upload that fix?

Done, thanks for the heads up!

Oh shoot, didn't realize. Will get on that now.

Yep, sadly we didn't get time to fix either of those :-)
