Sorry, we were planning on getting an in-game tutorial, but we ran out of time. I added objectives and some keys to use in the game in the page description. To play you need to offer your service, receive an order, prepare that order and then deliver it, complete the main mission which would be to get $500 in profits.

Thank you for your feedback and enthusiasm! I’m thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the game. I’ll discuss with the team about expanding and adding more content to make the game even more complete. Your support and suggestions are much appreciated!

Thanks again!

Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m glad you enjoyed the main character sprite and animations. The artwork is indeed something that PiE executed superbly, and it’s great to hear that it resonated well with you.

Regarding the “filling aquarium” part, I appreciate your feedback. I’ll look into optimizing that section to ensure it flows more smoothly in future updates. Your input is invaluable in helping us refine the game.

Regarding the loading times and shader usage, you’re right that shaders can significantly impact performance, especially if they are complex. For this project, I aimed to achieve a certain visual quality, which relies on shader effects. However, I understand the importance of balancing performance and aesthetics. For future updates, I’ll consider providing an option to toggle shaders on and off to accommodate different hardware capabilities and improve loading times.

As for the terrain and map loading, it actually just loads the pre-designed map we have. The “filling aquarium” part is a shader that creates the visual effect. As a beginner, I didn’t handle it as efficiently as I could have. Currently, there are issues with uploading the corrected files, but I’ve already made the necessary optimizations.

I apologize for the screen that says generating Terrain, and filling Aquarium, what this two does is loading the map that you already know and compiling the shaders so that the game itself, in theory, goes better. Btw we’re beginners here, this is our first game. And I’m glad you found the game fun. Maybe I used the wrong words there, I will take that into consideration for the next one, “Loading map” and “compiling shaders”.

Thanks so much for playing! We’re planning to put in-game tutorial for an update after the jam.

Thanks so much for playing! Glad you enjoyed it

I love it <3

I love it, is very funny and addictive <3

I appreciate your comment, and I’m glad that the bug wasn’t an impediment for you to enjoy at least a while of our game.

You need to offer your service, then ask him how he should be prepared. Once you’ve done that, press tab to know what steps to take. In the kitchen you can use the tables that are there. And in the Market you can buy ingredients. Then come back and give him what you prepared.

Thank you for your comment! I’ve noticed the bug and have already fixed it. In about 30 minutes, I’ll upload the corrected versions so you can enjoy the game without any issues. My apologies for the inconvenience caused by the error.

We’ve addressed the issue you mentioned, and I’m excited to let you know that the new version with the bug fix is now available.

Hi everyone!

I’m an amateur Unity programmer eager to be part of a team for the upcoming jam. I’m fairly new to game jams and really excited to learn and contribute however I can. I’m open to working with anyone - artists, game designers, musicians, or other programmers. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, which could be helpful for team communication.

If you need an extra hand or are looking to round out your team, feel free to connect! You can respond here or reach me on Discord: srirumachi.

Thanks, and I’m looking forward to making something fun together!
