Thank you for playing my game.

After checking my files, it seems I could only find the html web versions of Blutrot. Unfortunately I did some destructive edits to the main Unity project, and it has been left in a somewhat broken state.

I will probably go back to it eventually and clean it up, but I don't know when, as I am more focused on future projects.

Either way I am honored you asked. Thank you very much, it gives me hope.

Hey ligmut, thanks for commenting.

I'm going to try and post the downloadable version, if I can find it. You want to download Blutrot right? Unfortunately as I said above, it's not an immensely finished game, but I'm glad you got some enjoyment out of it.

Hopefully the ideas behind it, shine through the roughness, and you can see what I was trying to go for, and what kind of ideas I will have in the future.

Now about the Dungeon game. I've been on and off with that, trying to figure out exactly what I want to, or what I even have the ability to make. I agree way too many games are much too friendly to the player, in order to reach a wider audience.

I like to make niche and possibly uncomfortable experiences that will appeal to, first of all, me. I make games I want to play. And in doing so, hopefully will appeal to a small group of people wanting something unique.

My main focuses when making games are, atmosphere, story telling, characters, and emotion.

As of now the "dungeon" idea is becoming a game that will be some weird mix of little nightmares and dark souls, at least for now. It could change. I'm keeping it down low for now.

Anyhow, thanks again, I'll tell you if I can find a downloadable version of Blutrot.

Appreciated.

I'm not sure how far this version will go, as it is a prototype for the "real" game, I suppose one could say.

As I ponder the possibilities, I do have to ask myself how many of the exciting features should actually be withheld until the later game.

With that said as a whole, the final post prototype Blutrot is planned to have a much wider map, more of a focus on long term survival, and graphics that won't run in a web browser. To name a few things.

I'm hoping it will have lighting and a 2.5D look as I have done in this project https://gods-knight.itch.io/little-knight

I played it, made me laugh a bit. Don't be discouraged, it can be hard with all the competition, but just focus on your own games and don't worry about what others are doing.

Nice

Cool

Great game, deserves attention.

I appreciate your passion. Getting into game development is hard, and it's taken me years to even get where I am now. Keep at it, you can do great things.

I feel you on the music composition stuff. I've been improving there but it's hard. Hope you get a ton of plays.

Drawn quite a few skeletons myself in the past, yours is certainly not bad. Keep up a quality aesthetic.

Pretty cool, and fun. Would be nice to see more enemy variety in place of just leveled up little guys. But it's a work in progress so I get it.

I've been working on a space shooter game, and as such I can tell you are putting a lot of care into this. Keep it up I'll be keeping tabs on this.

Also, I compose music and noticed a lack of music in your game. It's possible that down the road I could help you out with that if you would like. You can check out my stuff if you want an example of my music quality.

I would highly suggest a restart button upon death, or maybe even just restart the player automatically and make them have to leave the level manually if they want to be done. Having to go back the the main menu each time one dies is not fun.

Pretty neat. Could definitely go places if you continue to work on it.

Hello there Sir, just wanted to say, I saw your dev log and thought the artwork looked evocative so I came to check it out. While I don't have time to try it out right now, I wanted to say that I am also working on a physical rpg, so from one game dev to another, I hope you gain immense satisfaction out of this.

God bless

Always good to see more knights. I also called my game little knight as a working title, guess it's common, please check it out on my profile. God bless.
