Will there be an ending option where we help just one specific person, while for the others — though not catastrophically bad — things don’t turn out in the best possible way? Yet we still reach the end of the story without a «Game Over»?
It’s simple. The vast majority of people want everyone to love them, but they themselves do nothing about it and don’t change for the better. That’s exactly what you described.

The only thing described looks like there are consequences only for those with whom the main character communicates. Of course, if you get involved with certain characters, it will hurt you (as the main character of the story), but I think it would be good if there were a couple of options that would end badly for the main character himself.

You should also write about the "Thought Police"(Special Higher Police (Tokubetsu Kōtō Keisatsu, Tokko)) that existed in fascist Japan in the 10s - 40s of the 20thcentury.

Лучше меньше да лучше. Ставить сроки важно, но если пытаться делать через силу ни чего хорошего не создать. Работайте в том темпе который позволяет работать в удовольствие, не превращая проект в долгострой.

Не в теме программ, но тут банально работать лучше всего в том что покрывает потребности и нравиться тебе самому. А надоест или потребуется что-то с большим/другим функционалом, всегда можешь попробовать что-то новое, ты же не AAA-студия, творящее порожняк.
