The character and icons were fine, I didn't like how the platforms and background look. The background could use some variation: maybe clouds, sun, mountains. Also underground background could represent that you are underground: it can be rocks or dirt.

That’s a very original game. I really like it!

I started with the tutorial and had some trouble understanding what I was supposed to do,
but then I just started a normal game and everything became clear right away—because I could see what the enemy was doing. :D

I feel like there isn’t enough strategy. Painting circles yellow or blue seems to have exactly the same value for the player.

Nontheless I think its a very good submission

Cute! I like the art. I feel like the jump sound is a little too loud, and there might be a few too many butterflies. Nonetheless, good job!

At first I thought hitboxes are meant to represent colors xD

I really liked the character animation, it was cute. I would prefer to jump with spacebar since I'm used to it from other platformers. I also liked the way character moved, it was smooth and pleasant. I wasn't a fan of a visuals other than character though.

Thank you! I really focused on music and I'm glad you liked it ^^

Yeah, power-ups should be more visible. The outline is a nice idea, thanks!

I've had some problems with understanding, how to play this game, but after I got it it was unexpectedly fun :D

Wow, this game looks amazing! The ice, the crowds, it hits the spot for me. And the character is really cute! I've had some problems with the controls though. It was a bit hard to control a character.

I think your game is really pretty, and I especially liked the style of the GUI. The game fits the prerequisite well, but I didn’t quite get the connection with colors, aside from just the visual style.

Music really IS great in this game! I'm listening to it while writing that :P

I have to admit, I don’t quite understand how to play your game. I couldn’t find any weapons, and I kept getting blocked by a huge wall. Nevertheless, I think your idea is really nice and fits the prerequisite well.

Thank you! Yeah, I’m not very proud of the mechanics, to be honest. We had more ideas, but we just didn’t have the energy to pull them off that weekend. I'm really glad you liked the music

I really enjoyed the gameplay. The polish is nice and game fits the theme very well. One thing I didn’t like is the red balls on the red blood — it makes them really hard for me to spot. Nonetheless, great submission!

Simple, shiny, cool! I got over 8000 and didn’t even notice you could change colors to destroy obstacles xDD
Yes, I'm dumb, why are you asking?

Way harder than it looks xD I love how cozy it feels. Good job!

Thank you! I'm so glad people keep mentioning the music — it really means a lot to us!

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it :D

Thanks :D

Thank you!

I think so. I feel like the current controls are better suited for games where you're not limited to 90-degree turns. Maybe removing the 90-degree limitation is the solution.

Nice game! I had a bit of a hard time understanding what I was supposed to do >.<

This might be my favorite submission so far. Really enjoyable! The controls feel like I'm playing Little Fighter again :D

Don't click the power button multiple times! Seriously—don’t do it! Cool idea, but feels a little unpolished.

Good game! At first, I thought I could move on every line displayed on the UI. Maybe that would be cool—it would give players the option to go faster. Nonetheless, good job!

Good game, I liked the challenge. I didn’t see the WASD icon in the top left at first, and it took me a while to get the controls right. The first speed boost scared the hell out of me xD I had fun!

Nice game, I enjoyed it! Though the controls are a little strange, and I’m not sure if I did something wrong, but at some point, I stopped hearing the shooting sounds. Nonetheless, good job!

Hello fellow snake :D I’m impressed that you made the main menu and even the leaderboard — good job!

Very cool! It fits the theme really well! Matching the colors was a challenge—sometimes I was sure I had chosen the right ones, but I didn't x.x

Thanks! We were worried about whether people would like the music, and your opinion will make Kiri (the composer) very happy :D

Thanks for playing! Yeah, I figured it would be confusing (since it's very different from regular snake), but it was already too late to change it X.X I'm glad you liked it, despite that. I'll focus more on the mechanics next time.

Thank you!

Thank you for playing (and special thanks for completing)! Yeah, I'm not very proud of the mechanics, to be honest. We were thinking about much more, but we just didn’t have the energy to pull it off that weekend.  I'm so glad you liked the music! Kiri worked hard to make that piece enjoyable, and she’ll be really happy to hear that

Yea, I thought that ball was some kind of collectible and I spent a minute trying to get to it doing down+jump on the platform or trying to run past the platform

Nice game, surprisingly well-polished for a game jam! I'd love to have some currency and be able to upgrade something, but I guess I'm just really into collecting and upgrading stuff :D

Thank you ^^

It wasn't intended really, but I'm happy it feels that way :D

Nice composition. The vibe and idea is there, but it's lacking some melody or variations.

Hey, that surprised me with high quality sound! It feels like sth rich :P

I liked it. It fits the picture nicely and the piece is pleasant to listen to.

Great job! I really liked that guitar intro, and following part was also really nice - I've got Harry Potter vibes :P

One thing is, the guitar and the rest felt like two separate pieces. I liked both, but they have too little connection imo.

It was very interesting to listen to! Fun and jolly piece :)
