Here's my review of the game for anyone on the fence.

Herd is another amazing puzzle-discovery game by Letibus. I'm tempted to call it my favourite game they have made, like I did with WorkWorkWork; however, I'm sure they will top it again.

As with the rest of their catalogue, it reinvents what has been done before. I love the direction of rather than having the rule-discovery be in the basic rules, but the interactions within those rule. A great example is the hunt for the key. It was an amazing moment. However, there is one rule that is left entirely to be discovered which made my jaw drop. The secret rule is a genius way of ending the book. It really gives the rest of the book life.

I also love the theming of this book. The difficulty of the puzzles make it really feel like a journey. The few bits of text we get at the end of chapters are beautiful, especially the Singularity.

I love the odes to the other puzzle games like Lok and abdec on the side of the box. They were fun additions.   I love the figures that come with the physical book. They feel really good to stack; although, a Shepherd on Shepherd feels clunky.

In summary, this is another great book by Letibus you should buy now.
