I have been writing! Though, not as much lately. Spazzle had a very interesting next adventure!
One dreary day as grey clouds blanketed the sky, and the morning mist coated the hollow log path black, Spazzle was cheerily enjoying a little walk when she saw something concerning. Deeni the Rabbit, a sweet little blonde rabbit, was juggling many packets of seeds. Actually juggling. Like one might see from a clown in a circus. Not that Spazzle had ever seen a circus before, but she imagined this might be what it was like. Oh, but there were just so many seed packets! And it looked like Deeni would drop them without help!
Spazzle hurried over nearly slipping on the slick hollow log path. She held out her furry open palms and called out to Deeni. “I can help! Toss some of the seed packets here!”
“You have to juggle these ones or they won't grow right,” Deeni told Spazzle.
Spazzle was shocked by this news but was determined to do what she could to help Deeni. “Okay! Let me try! I don't want you to drop any!”
“Gee, thanks, Spazzle! I could use a couple of extra hands! Catch!” Deeni said, before throwing the seed packets at Spazzle. Catching the seed packets was the easy part. Juggling them? Much harder.
“Follow me!” Deeni said, as they started to move along the hollow log path.
Oh no, Spazzle thought. She had to move while juggling the seed packets? She was so afraid she was going to drop one. Her steps were slow. She was having a hard time keeping up with Deeni.
“Deeni, Deeni, wait for me,” Spazzle cried out, sounding distressed.
“Aw, gee, sorry about that, Spazzle. I plum forgot that a lot of folks don't know how to do this real hardcore farming stuff.”
“Am... am I doing a good job?” Spazzle asked, uncertain, as she continued to juggle the seed packets.
“Yes, yes! Just keep at it. And we'll go slow. One step at a time,” Deeni told her.
“One step at a time,” Spazzle said, taking a deep breath. And she followed Deeni, juggling seed packets all the while, one step at a time until they made it to the community garden.
