I loved the music! The game is interesting too, but I haven't quite understood it. I felt the movement and aiming a bit floaty. The art is great too! Congrats

I LOVED IT! So fun and funny, congrats man.

Great game, great concept! It has a lot of potential for further puzzles.
I'd just give some more polish and juice to the movement and jump mechanics, so they feel better.
I had a very similar ideia for my game, but it's a bit more action focused and envolve shooting instead of jumping.
You can try it here!

(This version is a polished one, finished after the deadline of the Jam).

Thanks man! I'm happy you liked, specially the second version.

And don't worry, the ratings in the Jam are supposed to be related to the official submission anyway. Otherwise, it would be cheating ...hahaha

Thank you, man!
In case you played the Jam version, I invite you to play the polished version that I could finish just after the Jam 's deadline:
https://giabeni.itch.io/gladiators-echo

It's has much better instructions, pacing and rules, as well as A LOT of general improvements.

I'm happy you liked anyway!

The jump feels too floaty and hard to control. It felt more janky than challenging, what's dangerous for a game that uses time to put pressure. But audio was great!

Thank you very much, man! It means a lot.
You're right, the version you played was completely unfinished...unfortunatelly, I couldn't upload a polished version on time.

However,  I released a new page with the latest version, muuuuuch better than the one you played. It's seems like a game now :)

Hope you enjoy!

If I remember well, nothing was happening actually…But I can give it a try again later

Very interesting, man! Your video is very cool, too...

But I couldn't get the player to attack in the game, is that a bug?

Anyway it was a very good interpretation of a SPP LOL.

Congrats!

Uow! This is a very great example of how to combine multiple mechanics to create a action puzzle.

Loved it! In the top 5 I've played.

Congrats!

Awesome! Very unique mechanic!

It's hard and requires some kinf of patient.... but it's worth!

Congrats

One of the best games of the jam!

Really awesome idea, level design and art style.
The only point that needs improvement in my opinion is the controls feel. The deacceleration of both mouse and movement as well as the jump feel are kind of weird for me.

Congrats!

Interesting idea! Awesome art either.
But it felt a little strange for me to control the direction and "feel " the game progression.
Congrats anyway!

Awesome idea, art, execution! Everything is super polished.
The game also feels challenging and addicting. The best I had played until now!

Congrats guys!

Please! I'd love to play more levels LOL

I had fun! My record was 78 .90.

Would be nice to have some laser limit or penalty if you miss a shot, just to avoid spaming the shoot button lol

Thanks a lot ZMar! I have already added some more kind of weapons like axe and pickaxe. Also, I'm about to add special bombs like mines and detonators.

Now you can also grab objects like boxes or barrels and throw them in the enemy to make him dizzy. Some objects exploded with the impact, too.

I'm releasing this next version in the next days, so please follow me to get notified!

;) Thanks!

Awesome, Grey! Glad to know. I'll be releasing a new demo version with much more features in the next week.

Also, I'm working in the online multiplayer for it.

If you could rate the game, would be great.

Thanks!

Adorei! Hahaha ficou bem bonitinho e bem feito.

Parabéns ao time
