Hey, thanks for playing. We're glad you liked it. There are lots of little ways we could expand on it, maybe something cool for the future.
Originally, I wanted an alternate ending where, if you did everything in time, the Chain Killer just gets upset and leaves.

Hey, thanks for playing. I'm glad you loved the Style; the icons on the right side were more for show to make the Desktop look more filled out.

https://itch.io/jam/scream-jam-2025/rate/3964733 If you like Digital Horror, we think you might love our wee project :)

While progression can feel a little confusing at times, with the teleporting between locations being a little jarring, the Oija board section and the piercing red visuals are standouts and give the game its identity.

I'd love to see a bit more variation with the tasks, but for such a short Jam, this is a work of Art and a masterclass in suspense and sound design.

Thank you, everyone, for your games. will be going through and checking them all out now :)

Oozing with style and creativity, I love love love the vibes that the game has, also one of the most unexpected and creepy scares in the Jam so far, which really caught me off guard. I highly recommend and will be following.

Moving windows and messing with the taskbar, etc., were all planned, but unfortunately didn't make it in time. I also debated an alternate ending where the User just angrily rants at the player for beating the game if they managed to win, but again, time caught up to us, haha.

Hi, thank you so much for playing. We've had a few comments about the performance and are looking into it. We're not quite sure what could be causing these bottlenecks in performance, considering it's quite a low-stakes game, unless it's just UE5 being UE5.

Hi, thank you so much for playing. We're glad you had a good time with it. The cutscene shouldn't loop. We may have to see if we can fix that after the jam  -.-

Hi there, thanks for downloading our game. Terribly sorry about the performance. We didn't have much time to do an optimisation pass, but most of the assets are 2D, so I'm unsure what could be tanking the performance. Maybe one day we'll push out an improved version after the Jam, but again, thank you for your time.

Thank you so much 😊 Were really happy with how it turned out and have played with the idea of taking it further next Halloween

Hey, we have a retro early  2000s-inspired horror game about chainmails and cyber attacks.

We've tried both Jpegs and PNG.s

Hi Everyone, we're currently having trouble uploading any images to our Game page. All the files are within the recommended specs, but are still failing. Is ITCH currently experiencing issues?

He's a big lad, been on the whey

Thank you so much

The simple pleasures of being a big bird that chuffs darts

Hey thanks for playing, I get what you mean, originally we had a second enemy planned and a boss fight to shake up the combat encounters but lost a crazy amount of time due to Unreal shenanigans, maybe we'll add them back in after the jam.

Contains rat.

I enjoy.

Ah my bad I think we skipped that step and just went straight into doing classic connect 4

I think our play bugged and would not let either of us win but bombing rows in connect 4 is a funny idea.

Fun and challenging gameplay loop with great presentation throughout.

I Loved everything about this from the fun and goofy mechanic to Naruto running, was going to point out some collision issues with the buildings but was not expecting to become the building and then run around, I'd happily play a full game of this.

Feels satisfying to drift around and the day and night cycle is a nice touch.
