Glad I could help!

The art and music were super charming! As someone also participating in the GMTK jam for the first time (and who also made a frog themed game) I want to say you did a great job!

Very fun! Well done!

Very cute game! At times I felt like the levels were more tedious than difficult, but it was still very enjoyable. Well done!

For sure! I think I was a bit unclear about what I meant. Because the CPU tends to play abilities later, and is often very passive,it made me feel as if there was an imbalance between how the player and CPU were able to interact with the game. I would describe the CPU as seeming to be more like a dealer in blackjack than a direct opponent.

While this isn't necessarily a bad thing, because there is so much luck involved, new players can struggle to win consistently, even if proper strategy does give them an edge. This can make the outcome of the game feel outside of their control.

I think that it was a combination of these two factors that gave me the initial impression that the game felt unfair. A coin toss is an example of a perfectly fair game, but may feel unfair if one player gets to call heads or tails every time, since the other player isn't given any control.

While probably outside of the scope of a game jam, some form of progression where different opponents play in unique ways and become more difficult would be a good way to introduce players to the mechanics and teach them how to develop their skills, similar to other luck-related games like Balatro.

Please don't take this as me saying the game was bad, as I really enjoyed it and thought it was very creative. Just wanted to provide some form of feedback for improvement, in case you were interested!

Simple, the graphics were really cool but could be toned down slightly to make it a little easier to see? Overall great work!

The graphics and effects are really amazing, and the concept does a great job of fitting the theme in a unique way. Fantastic work!

Thanks so much! Unfortunately I wasn't able to fix all the bugs before the deadline, but after the jam I will certainly continue to work on it!

The art was amazing, and I loved the multiplicative scaling. The overkill mechanic was creative too!

A very unique concept! I would love to see it expanded on in the future, since it was a bit short, but very cool!

Super cute and charming! Well done!

Awesome vibe/concept. I do wish it was a bit more fair for the player, but I still thought it was very cool!

Every level was well done and super enjoyable. Great puzzle game!

Super creative, polished, and fun to play. Great work!

The sound design and graphics were great, and the concept was simple but very creative. Would love to see more levels/challenges in the future.

Really fun, the puzzles were well done and I really liked the spikes/levers. The artwork was nice!

Pretty tricky, but the art, music, and actual mechanics were very fun! I appreciated the tutorial video. Great game!

The art is absolutely incredible! Sorry that you weren't able to fully finish the game, but it was super creative and fun.

A simple concept, but well executed! I like the way the projectiles target/ricochet between enemies.

Love the art and music! A really simple but fun game!

Super creative! I really like the sound effects and overall progression.

Thank you for pointing that out! I have updated the scaling here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1b0Ut_DSF9DoHX-IFyKMI_EKhSkrTyCyf/view?usp=shari...

Other than the scaling, the project is identical!
