I'm not sure about the too much too early thing. Part of the reason I got into the game was because there was so much to do right off the bat. Usually with these games I get frustrated really quickly because I hit a wall where I feel I'm no longer making progress but with this game you don't really get that because of how much you have access to. IDK though.

Seems like a lot of people don't want it but I want to leave a comment to say that some people do, like me very much. Just to make sure it isn't 1 sided issue where everyone hates it.

you should get ahead of schedule for the next one and not add more scenes for this update

Yeah I got the same issues on someone the images only in the new version though.
