Very fun little game! The art style, the creativity, the funny voice, even the mechanics behind moving things is quite impressive! One of my favourites :)

Let's go gambling!

Aww dang it..

This is a smart idea! Numberphiles will definitely enjoy this. Everything is minimalist and to the point!

Burn the lettuce!

The user experience is nice and quite unique. Art style is very moody, yet charming. The mechanic is quite creative and although the cursor moves extremely low by default, there's not much action or timing issues to really make a difference. Good job!

This was so cool and cute! The mechanic is very creative and one of the best integrated games to the theme. Nothing negative to say except that I felt like some obstacle areas were a bit too harsh, like level 3's area where the cutters re just low enough for you to jump lightly, and the timer is a bit too short for the jump. But nonetheless, amazing and polished game!

Thanks! Indeed the vibes, the atmosphere and the visuals were the strong point here. I guess the story I tried to explain it the best in the description and let the player kind of put the pieces together, but I know I put almost no effort in the storytelling haha.

And yes, pretty much that's how you would dodge the projectiles! A combination of maneuvering, gravitating and when it gets too difficult, you can use your flares, where the missiles target. Indeed I noticed that some times the turrets do shoot after you get past them. I had a threshold that the turret would not shoot at after you surpassed, but perhaps that wasn't enough. Or I should of added more visual cues as to when a missile is incoming. You could still dodge them if you hear them coming and deploy flares. But clearly, user experience matters. Thanks again for the feedback! I'll definitely consider them on the next iteration :)

Thanks! I think the visuals helped a lot with the abstract feel that I wanted to achieve. For the hazards, you had to use your maneuvers and flares (right click)! :)

Glad you liked the mechanics! That was the main challenge in the beginning, getting the controls right.

Yes indeed perhaps the win/loos part of the loop was a bit abstract. Or at least not explained in game much. Basically you had to make it to the portal before the Storm catches up to you. And in the mean time, you had to dodge the huge lasers and avoid incoming attacks with your flares and maneuvers. I had a threshold that prevented the turrets from hitting you after you surpassed them, but I think that threshold was too far ahead haha. Good to know for the future and thanks for the honest feedback!

Such a simple mechanic and premise, yet it is so addicting and fun to play. Loving the voice alerts.

Cute idea! The creativity is there and there needs to be quite an amount of planning and thoughtfulness on how you spend your money. Seems real!

This is amazing! I love the artstyle, the creativity and the cuteness of the game! Such a cute story too. Encore, Jo!

The core game loop and the mechanics come together so well! Easy to learn with a bit of a learning curve. Had a lot of fun gliding around with a sponge!

At first, I didn't understand the control scheme, it was a little confusing. But then you get the hang of it quickly. I realized that it's much better with the controller though.

I love the feedback, puzzles and the FTUE parts! They are so well done. Game seems polished and well thought of. Well done! One of my favourites!

This is so awesome and cute! Love the replay factor here and how everything comes together. Well deserved win!

Very creative and simple idea! I like the geometry dash reference to the mechanics. The "Unity" compilation meta concept is cool too. And as always, the credit menu is lit!

when you type the name, make sure you write .wav in the end. This ensures that it is exported as a .wav file

I am not giving the game a perfect score, because I could not finish it and I rage quit. And I lost one of my seeds. Yes, I'm butthurt >:(

But in all seriousness, this game was very impressive. The story, the art, the sound, the feedback and mechanics were just too good for a 48 hour jam. Probably my favorite game out of all. Amazing!

The audio feedback was a very great touch! Game is pretty basic, but it's of the most complete games in the jam so far with almost no bugs. The game also fits well with the theme. Thankfully my pc could run it, so I had fun. Good job x)

Sure, game is unfinished with no sound. But did it make sense? Yes. Was the art style funky and with nice variations? Yes! Was there some cool concepts with great potential? Yes! Can't wait to see the finished product. Good job!

Wow! Such a fun mechanic. Loved the retro 1920's art style and the music. The AI navmesh was a bit weird sometimes, but it was pretty convincing. The level design was pretty good too. Liked the idea with the vents, where you can recover and hide. My only issue was the complete invisibility for the player when becoming smoke. You could have made the player half transparent or a literally smoke sprite to be able to see where I'm going. Other than that, awesome!

Cute game! As mentioned, the camera had some issues. The lil flame buddy is my favorite thing

Love the artstyle and the audio! Your pipeline must of been very efficient to produce something like this in 48 hours

Great artstyle and potential! Understandably with the time crunch, I could see more fun with more types of enemies

We did not set up a composite collider, so the jumps don't really work when you're too close to a wall. So keep some distance for now!

For a 3D game in Unreal, the artstyle is very good for such a short time frame event. The cow sound was a 5/5 itself haha. I liked the mood, the cow attraction mechanics and the effects. The shooting was very satisfying. One issue was that I could not find the flying disk sometimes and I got lost. An indicator in the UI would help a lot, but I understand that was hard to do for this time frame. Very nice visuals, very smart idea. Good job to you guys!

Very good for a simple game like this! I got excited to play it when I saw the thumbnail, because I knew the creativity was there. I liked the sounds and the controls and mechanics were easy to understand. I definitely got more Harem after a few plays and sheeesh, it was satisfying when you get many people to like you at once xD Great job to the team and I'm sure you guys are proud of your work :)

ahaha since the npc cars were flying around, we let the player fly around too

Spooky AF

Cute art style!
