This is such a great way to connect the visual and text aspects of twine!! Tbh it was hard for me to figure out how the system worked at first because I thought the side underneath was cooking, not the one on top. I wish in the controls there was an example of what golden looks like, since that too me a hot minute to get. I served a lot of raw pancakes on accident,,, very fun with great vibes and mechanics overall !!
The writing in this is so lovely and poetic :00 it really made me feel like I was discovering more about a friend or loved one's memories. I'm not too sure what the ending is supposed to be and if that was intentional or not. It feels very surreal and interpretative, but also a little unfinished. Overall very cool and beautiful concept :D
YESS fellow cat game !!! I looove your illustration in the background as I feel like it adds to the silly and playful vibes :DD This really immersed me in what it is like to be a cat. I'm so glad I got to be a menace and lick dishes and chew on the cardboard box <33
when it comes to images, this is how I did it: I uploaded them onto imgur, opened them in a separate tab with JUST the image on it, and then linked it in twine using <img src="image link here">. It's kinda roundabout but it worked for me !! update: someone else also commented the solution oops
omg this concept is INCREDIBLY addicting and I could see myself playing this for HOURS. I will probably grind this later in order to join the King's Ranks. The systems are very easy to follow once you get the hang of it and remind me a lot of the idle game The Dark Room. I did think it was interesting that renting a room and talking to the barkeep basically serve the same reason of restoring your health, so I wonder if the are different later on. Overall this was very fun and such a fun concept !!!
I loveeeee the illustrations and overall design of this is sooo well thought out! The management system of checking stamina while also making money was very stressful but fun. This concept is so freaking cute and awesome.... I would play a game like this for hours and hours and do my best to earn so much money. Unfortunately I only got bad endings but maybe one day I can make my octopus family proud </3
I looooove this concept so much !!! It took me embarrassingly long to realize I needed to wait in order to do more than just die waiting for the train.... I love how you used the movement of text to make the player feel immersed, and how you make the player wait giving a sense of urgency. I loved the use of color combinations in order to get the code :D this was really fun and a simple concept that was executed very well!!
This is insanely cool omg... The horror aesthetic with the visuals and UI is insanely well done. I love how well your text and illustrations work together. This reminds me a lot of Signalis' general vibes, with how you have to explore through areas and objects. I would play a whole game like this in a heartbeat.
edit: I absolutely love the sense of dread you feel and I want to know so badly the full lore behind the roommate and you as the player :00 the small details of text glitching and glowing is so cool too...
