Great question.

To keep things fair for everyone and stay true to the spirit of the event, we ask that you start a brand-new project. Game jams are all about challenging yourself to test your skills within a specific window. For this game jam, you have 42 days to bring a fresh idea to life!

While you are totally welcome to use pre-existing base code, standard libraries, or public asset packs (as long as you have the right to use them), the core game development and design must happen during the jam's timeframe. Game projects found to have been started before March 2nd will automatically be disqualified.

To answer your question, there is no follow-up form for this specific Game Jam. We will, however, have a sign-in sheet when you arrive at the venue. Overall, this showcase is much more casual than the event we host in May.
