I think Ranok will not return, or he will return with a big wound, but probable he will not return, but he will not be dead, beacuse, from what i saw, almost every words that come from whisper it comes true but in a good sign, like when the whisper told Caelan that the Vul's dagger will "taste his flesh", and then it happend, Vul used his dagger to stab Caelan and save his life. This time i hope we will start adventure to find him and end up finding him in Strandbar, maybe surprising him with another male, for a little more drama. I think it was Ranok plan to run, beacuse from what i understand, those wolfs that are missing are Ranok friends, and we know that Ranok HATE all the things that are OBLIGATIONS in his life, like that she-wolf he need to meet. And also Vul is much smarter than he looks, and i think he is also into males, beacuse he asked "What do you know? " after Caelan wanted to show Vul that he know how he is in reality.
