That is some strong acceleration down to earth!! The fall rate really clicked once I got that wall jump though :)

Cool game!

At first, I thought I wouldn't get it, but it quickly clicked once I realized what was going on. Pretty neat idea :)

By far the best art direction out of the games I've played so far in the GMTK game jam. From the character and environment artwork to the VFX clockwork shader on the final boss, fantastic work. Seriously, five stars all round. Great job Second Fiddle Studio!! :D

Cool idea! I was thinking of a similar kind of system: what if you could control the timing and order of each defense weapon? You would have a max of four slots but lots of different bullet types, so you'd have to pick and choose. I appreciate the feedback and thanks for playing!!

Woah, strange... I don't have Linux nor Firefox, so it seems to be a unique case. Neat error though. Thanks for playing and glad you liked it once it starting working! :D

Like what Lafferty said, the shop has multiple upgrade options/screens! One of the .gif screenshots submitted to the game showcases the animation and shop effects as well as where to click to switch the page. (Although, getting to, say, sector 10 with only classic upgrades would be a pretty cool challenge >:D)

Haha glad you liked it! Wish I could've done more with the background, but with any game jam, there was a lot that could have been done, but not enough time to do. Thanks for playing! :)

Genuine all five stars in my opinion. The graphics, clear narrative, multiple interpretations of the theme, clean artwork, thrilling soundtrack and audio, and genuinely captivating and fun rapid gameplay. SO AWESOME!! >:D

Awesome arcade game! I love the subtle detail where the background stretches as you accelerate to help convey speed. Definitely one of the more underrated games in the jam :D

Super polished + multiple areas + rougelite ability picking? All with a shine of polish? Fantastic work! :P

Wow!! Great work on the visuals, gameplay, and overall design. Took me a moment to realize you could place weapons between the different notches on the clock, but the real experience unlocked after that. Really cool work here! :D

Really cool game! I was getting a sort of horror vibe, but the minigame fiesta it ended up being was a pleasant surprise. I absolutely love the VFX on here as well. The dithering effect with the lighting is super awesome! Fantastic work :D

That soundtrack is awesome!! As others have mentioned, lag spikes are present, but the game can always be downloaded if that bothers whoever.

Great work!! :D

That jellyfish sprite is SO GOOD!! Tough, but felt good after I finished it. Really nice work! :D

Really fun game! I wish I could use a & d for movement and/or have hotkeys for purchasing upgrades (I ended up using my nondominant left hand for movement and right hand on mouse), but I got use the controls soon enough. Really neat idea, love the procedural generation, and super cool dithering effect + pixel art! :D

Love the expressions! Super satisfying to hit a 3x combo :D

Super neat!! Love a good twin stick shooter with a unique idea :)

Really cool idea! Tried five times to make a level, just couldn't do it with the time restriction (I'm too slow)  :(

Super neat in any case!! :D

Short and sweet! Love the pixel art characters, effects, and background. Really nice work :)

Thanks for the kind words and for playing! Interesting thought about upgrade limiting. Maybe the shop could randomize in upgrade stock? Maybe sectors could be bunched in groups that give different buffs for each of the defense systems? I appreciate the feedback! :D

Glad you enjoyed and thanks for playing!! (Apologies about the screen scaling...! A friend actually encountered this, too. In their case, they were zoomed in to the tab from when they were checking out other projects. If you're in the browser and the scaling is off, check if you're zoomed in by looking for a magnifying glass top right of your search bar (on Google))

Haha! Thanks for playing! Nothing a quick variable tweak can't fix when it comes to the camera :) Glad you like the changing weapons idea (and the main menu)!

"Just resign" haha!

Phenomenal game!! It'd already be super impressive if the three of you hadn't made it in four days, but you did! :D

SO AWESOME!! Definitely one of the most underrated games in the jam that I've seen so far! It's hard, for sure, but wow you sure can stack up some crazy builds. On the "choose an upgrade" screen, I realized I could just spam a number and go into the next round with like 6 more stopwatches haha. Really cool work here! :D

Thank you so much!! Glad you like it :D

Fantastic work here! Love the idea of a "decremental". Reminds me of classic CoolMathGames and Flash projects. Really cool :)

Absolute menace with the melee >:D

(Thanks for playing btw!)

Haha that'd be cool if the music synced with the firing! I made the whole soundtrack in a hurry, but imagine if the songs lined up with the fire rate upgrades? Thanks for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed!

Interesting point about the difficulty curve. If I had more time, it seems like a difficulty setting would be all round appreciated. Thanks for playing! :D

It amps up later on, but I really do wish I tweaked the numbers a bit so it gets more intense sooner! Thanks for playing and I appreciate the feedback :)

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! I get what you mean about the camera.

Now that I think about it, it'd would be cool if the camera were to zoom out as you get more speed upgrades :)

I'm unsure of what you mean by "never found what you were shooting"... how many rounds in did you get? (Thanks for trying out the game in any case! And I like the cat pfp :D )

Haha I appreciate the kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed it! :D

I absolutely love the art style! The camera is such a nice touch as well :)

(Unfortunately, after painting for quite some time, the game crashed on me...)

Love the art style! Getting Superhot x YOMIHustle vibes :D

(My score also didn't reset when I died, so I'm chilling with a crisp 44k score after a couple of runs! :P  )

Thank you for playing! Your issue about the background is unfortunate... I added small particles not apart of the backdrop to add atmosphere and resolve this movement issue. In addition, the background is slowly rotating. If you crave speed, try buying the melee movement upgrade along with the ship upgrade! (Trust me, you go fast!) :D

Thanks so much for your kind words! Melee is awesome haha. Glad you enjoyed it! :D

Thank you so much! Glad you think so!

I'm glad you liked the game. Difficulty increases are something I see mentioned a lot and I totally agree! I might make a hard difficulty after the GMTK is over where I can apply awesome feedback such as this :)

I'm also glad to see melee is appreciated and working as intended (switching up the gameplay)!

Really wish I cranked the difficulty! Thanks for playing and for the feedback!! :D
