Awesome game, very very well polished and put together. Feels like a classic among the likes of Tetris or Bejeweled. Tons of little bits of charm and character to it too! I'd love to play a full length game like this

I'm no good at the Game of Life, but I did tinker around and get pretty far. I could definitely see this being a favorite for those who are more familiar with it

My QoL suggestion is to select a color if it gets right clicked in the grid

Honestly a game I could see myself getting into. Jump controls are fresh and really expressive, level layout is neat, all of the visuals and audio fit really well together, and the upgrades are simple but unique and well utilized.

UI was confusing at the start and there isn't really any agency in the gameplay, but I kinda enjoyed clicking things and watching things happen for a bit

Definitely a winner concept, and good execution too.

Just a small bug: I found that collecting a balloon and then slide-jumping allowed me to jump infinitely

very very neat concept! I liked all the messing around with the copies and all the cool way you can offset them. Level elements were intuitive (even if one level in particular was really hard). Learning I could make my copies fly was fun

Neat concept, but some of the platforming is a lil buggy and the replay system seems inconsistent. I couldn't get my loop guys to make the jump on the 4th level.

Also, a button to quickly run the timer down would be nice

what a super cool concept! Really good level design too

just goin through my queue

Really solid concept with a neat execution.

Played through. You and your story are worth knowing, and you did a great job putting it together in this game. Whatever you do from now on, I hope you know that a bunch of people on the internet appreciate you.

Thanks for this, it was hard to remember everything when the bird would only give the first hint.

(1 edit)

Let me preface this by saying I loved this game. The universe is very compelling, and the art, music, story...

Anyway, this isn't the first we've seen of the world shown in this game. There is of course a prequel of sorts, Escaped Chasm, but there's more than that too. Temmie's been giving us little pieces of this world for years now, and it wasn't until Escaped Chasm and Dweller's Empty Path that we finally saw some of the pieces fit together.

If you want to find little tidbits of Temmie's universe, there are art works, short animations, and even some music on her Tumblr, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube pages. Specifically, Dweller's of the Mountain's Forest, one of her earliest animations, shows a story hinted at directly in this game.

[EDIT: Temmie released an update, and apparently the previously mentioned animation is... well, just read the update]

So far, Temmie has left the story pretty open-ended in each of her games, but I think it's safe to bet that things will make more and more sense as she releases more content.

Please post a comment if you find anything from Temmie that I failed to list above.
