Launching Ambermoon.net from drive or using Ichio "Launch" button works fine, game runs and is working flawlessly.

also tried to launch AmbermoonPatcher, got this error log:

Linux (Nobara)
Installed the Linux package:
https://postimg.cc/47yHDjsn

When launching it, I was prompted for either "Game" or "Patcher"
Patcher ended up crashing (bug report sent)
After restarting & selecting Game, the game launched fine.

As the game was launching, it informed that "patcher is used for better performance". I confirmed and game started up normally (the main menu: New Game, View Intro, Quit)

I selected English Advanced 1.33

I am just surprised that English version (1.33) > German Version (1.20)It used to be the other way around :)

Anyway, game works
As for the desktop file - if it was intended for an desktop 'link' (Game launcher), it wasn't created, but it can be just something with my local settings.

Installation created INDEX.HTML which I tried to run through various browsers - for no avail.

Nice game.
+1 for the cat!

Barely playable.
Pop-ups have no visible X (close) buttons, so you must click in the upper right corner to close them (although when a button opens specific pop-up, it is anticipated that the same button closes it, but no. You can end up with all four pop-ups open, like Inventory, Status, Spells...  and without obvious means to close them.)
Same with first lade who asked me to move a barrel -> clicking OK did not close the pop-up, so I had to move away to get that pop up out of my sight.

Then I meet two skellies, combat feels off and generally out of place. MC swings without sounds, and without visible impact.
Also, when the sword goes through 2 skellies, both shall be damaged. And if not, at least let the player in a better (visual) way, that only one is being damaged (floating HP bar, instead one locked HP bar on the top -- which does not change even after I tried clicking on the other skeleton)

Feels like very early beta.

Lot of work on the road, lot of work. At least if it shall turn into a game (an actual game) eventually.

After a year, the game is pretty stable and acceptable fast.

And also improved in the meantime.

Good job!

Also, KUDOS for not succumbing to AI generated images, and keeping it all neat and hand-made.

not 100% certain, but shouldn't this be "AUFGESTANDEN"?

was probably fixed, as it works on my Garuda just fine now.

Fullscreen : yes, I was able to play it in fullscreen. As if also w/o windows border, I have to check.

Hi,

When  in 3D world, the mouse pointer is still free, hence when I want to turn around, it is not possible. Rotation stops because the free pointer hits the window border / edge.

Didn't find a way to lock the pointer (it is in-game pointer, it has the picture of a hand / finger, not system pointer)

Latest version did start, and I was able to go through the character customization, but as soon the game is expected to let me dive in, it ends up in 'black screen'. Cursor reacts and is moving, but the game won't budge. Eventually my OS asks me to "force quit" due "did not respond for longer time".
I am on Ubuntu.

Games looks very good, but for some reason it is extremely slow, marginally unplayable (Intel® Core™ i7-10850H × 12, 32GB MEM,  Quadro T1000)

So far all works fine. Game is much richer on content.
Very minor quirk: during party creation, 2 extra skills do apply for all 4, and to avoid this, one must select them from 1st down to 4th, in exact order. Otherwise changes might apply to unwanted character (like changing 2nd skill to BOW for 2nd char will add bow to 3rd and 4th, overwriting their selection)

Other funky quirk: pressing F5 - quick save, leaves the viewing are like this (but it can be fixed by pressing ESC and then returning to game) https://postimg.cc/G9tN3fzS

Great! Thank you.
Gonna try it out right away.

Well, game is fully playable on Linux, no issues detected.
Can't wait for the updated Linux build :D
Good job!

Hi,
not sure if it is only me, but description pop-up is off the screen and not readable.
BTW, this is LINUX version, I am running.

Shout out to devs, for mentioning KIM.COM

Love the new "Panda" faction.

Resources on / near the shores cannot be taken. Not from the sea, also not from the land.

Once I've encountered a ship near a ship yard, but the ship was on land, not on the sea (I could board it, but could not move, as expected, so I had to unboard again)

Steam Key distribution requires original email to confirm purchase, but the email I used back then, is now gone. Never mind, I prefer having it this way, so the Steam version is not needed at all.

Hi.

At the end of Zombie quest in Lumberhill, I want to search for the lost girl i the woods, but I am stopped with "I should get a collar first"
Where can I get a collar?

I was looking at http://www.badkittygames.ca/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page and didn't find conclusive solution.

.ca -> Hey, is mounted police still trampling over peoples' heads up there?

Game is OK.

But somehow moving in the forest areas is very slow. Is anyone else also encountering such game behavior? First I thought it is because the Slimes execute some AI scripts, but the game was slow even after I defeated all slimes on the map.

I would blame the location - that is used by default...
c:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\itch\apps\heros-hour\

AppData is extremely sensitive under Windows. And hence any HDD activity there is pretty restricted by default.

Would be worth a try changing the install location to something like C:\Games\Heros-Hour\ and see if the save/load issue persists.

At least on my Win 8.1 x64 Pro - Anything under AppData works badly.

Had "cannot load" issue. (any saved position loaded = game froze. Only task manager could close it)
Solution: I am running it from game directory and using "run as Admin".
Less crashes and I can load all games again.

Very promising game. Good job devs (so far, way to go! )
