Yeah, nothing happened. I ended up just reinstalling. It’s still happening, too. Now it shows that you’re on version 6, but it’s not automatically updating or offering the update in any way.

Edit: Okay, so, it seems like there’s some kind of distinction between versions and updates or something, because to actually get to the next version, I have click the cog next to the launch button, choose to manage the installed file, click “Switch to another version”, then choose the latest update. Notably, Corrupted Kingdoms does automatically update for me, and also offers older versions through the same menu. I don’t know enough about the app to know what’s different, though.

Well, then I suppose updating may be broken in that case. I have a version from Nov. 26th installed, and it won’t auto-update, and there’s no option to manually update, either.

I suppose I’ll delete and redownload entirely, since that seems to be my only option.

FWIW, I installed this version about an hour before it says version 4 was put out (03:32 installed vs 04:40 updated), so I should definitely be on the older version.

Hey, I know you said to use the Itch app, but it looks like the latest release isn’t set up for it. It just gives an empty install box when I try.

Unfortunately, the dev’s last activity anywhere was almost a full year ago.

Oh man, I was doing so good and then I got PHYSICSED.

Some of the balls got wedged in just the wrong way, and everything started shaking, and then, poof, like four balls disappeared and I got a game over, lol.

Woah, okay, I scanned with Virus Total, and this thing sets off a bunch of virus engines, not just Windows Defender, but only the 64-bit executable does this. Notably, it sets off Avast, AVG and McAfee as well.

Unfortunately it’s not actually downloadable. To make it downloadable, go to the file in Google Drive, right-click it and go to Share > Share. In the box that pops up, click the option under “General Access” and choose “Anyone with the link,” then in the drop-down to the right of that, make sure it’s set to “Viewer”.

Ah, okay, I didn’t understand what the whole , and . thing meant originally. All the levels I downloaded used commas, and only loaded after changing them to decimals.

So, I don’t know if they work for anyone else, but no custom levels work for me. I always spawn in the void far enough out that rounding errors are causing the view models to freak out. EDIT: Here’s a video of what happens:

I don’t know if this is a known issue or not, but the whole pipe system seems to be broken. I can’t use any of the yellow connectors, the sprinklers stop connecting to things after being moved and the firehose only seems to collect pressure.

EDIT: I’ve realized that the whole issue I mentioned with the connectors is the same as the sprinklers, they stop letting you connect after you move them.

EDIT2: Also, I noticed that the “gas” content control doesn’t seem to work.

So, the new sawed off seems to be broken. I unlocked it, but it doesn’t appear on the play screen at all and can’t be upgraded. EDIT: Nevermind! I didn’t realize it was a secondary! That’s awesome.

Very cool! Art looks great and the game is super fun to play, though maybe a bit brutal for my tastes. The Inscryption inspiration really shines through, and I absolutely love that.

Will there be a demo of the rebuild? I don't really want to put money out if I'm not sure it'll even run on my PC.

I'd love to give some feedback, but I haven't been able to play it for more than a few seconds without it softlocking. Under seemingly random circumstances, the game just stops responding to all input other than escape and camera controls.
EDIT: Well, I found one of the softlock causes. Pressing interact on a normal wall freezes you forever.
EDIT2: I think I found another. Pressing 'x' in combat.

Can you explain this, because I'm pretty damn sure I've interacted with absolutely everything and haven't found any way to open that case with the tube in it.

The only thing I can even imagine right now is a locked door that says it needs key A, but doesn't open with key A.

EDIT: Okay, I figured it out, here's where my problem was: In the research room where the glass cell with the wolf thing is, Key B is sitting on the table with the disabled computer. It blends in fairly well on my monitor. Also, the door with Key A is an error, it's actually opened by Key B.
