Midlife Time Crisis playthrough

A lot of layers & a lot of interpretation behind an aesthetically perfect game. I will give the game another try as I believe I didn't give the game justice in this playthrough. Despite that, the story was intriguing & the "rabbit hole": alluring enough to lose myself in.

Midlife Time Crisis Gameplay

Sadly I didn't get all 4 endings...I believe I only found 3.

Ah well, It was a solid experience with some successful jump scares. I really love the shared universe idea the most however, & would love to see how that evolves.

Midlife Time Crisis Playthrough

I may give the Steam version a crack later down the track...but so far, a solid experience with only On The Job Training to support you.

I love how quirky the game is - sorry if the horror vibe was what you were primarily going for, but breaking the 4th wall aspect of your game was the icing on the cake.

S-Rank art & assets, with an interesting vision. Is there any chance for this concept to be further developed upon?

you're very welcome! I'm glad to have been the first to showcase the gallery - always a fan of included behind the scenes or conceptual content, so thank you too for making that a reward.

In regards to the red lights: Thank you for clarifying that, I don't think I was that perceptive that evening to catch those hints. But yes, an interesting idea isn't it? Like a secret ending that only those that can decipher would get.

Btw, if you are able to watch my video till the end, I was testing out a theory regarding the red lights that I don't think was correct - are you able to confirm the nature of the red lights by any chance?

'Musta!

Freakbalang was surprisingly a lot darker than I gave it credit for. The story was excellent & really played on my heartstrings. For a Jam game, you had plenty to offer on top of a cool filo'centric premise.

Yo! Thanks for bringing me into your testing community. Once the testing version is available, am I allowed to cover its playthrough in a YT video? If so, I'll postphone my current Dark Twilight YT video in favour of your more polished version. If not allowed that's ok too, happy to keep it all confidential. You're also very welcome, La Perlas was heading in a good direction & I enjoyed covering it. Can't wait to see the full vision of Dark Twilight!

Hi Rafael, thank you for reaching out. Funny you would say that, I actually found Dark Twilight by chance & linked La Perlas to that as its spiritual successor. I did a review of the demo yesterday with the intention to post it on YT this week. If you have a different demo you'd like me to use for my playthrough other than what I downloaded off itchio, please let me know as I'm happy to postpone my YT video and play a version you prefer. Also, when you say "testers" for Dark Twilight, is that a different version of the game than what's on itchio? If so, I'd be happy to be a tester :)

Midlife Time Crisis' Gamhanan playthrough

I'm looking forward to where this proof of concept leads you.

Midlife Time Crisis' Gamhanan playthrough

I admit: 1 obvious jumpscare deserves praise...whilst another wasn't really a jumpscare, but did the job anyway-it's just I'm a scaredy cat. So great start!
