Hey! I just wanted to let you know that your game was a stand-out game for me. Not just for the creativity but for the storytelling. I really liked your use of sign posting and narrative design. I have a tiny game dev community surrounding my tiny YouTube channel about narrative game design and wanted to invite you! I hope to see you there :) https://discord.gg/pXBuebn7WY

My dude! This is fun! I sorry I didn’t play this during the jam! 😓

I’m wondering, was the character meant to be a car at first? Because it plays like a drift racer. I love it! The mapping of the speed to numbers is super cool. I don’t think I’ve ever seen something exactly like that before. I like that I’m literally racing against time :D

Hey, I wanted to invite you to my discord. Your game was so interesting in that interactive narrative way, I’d really like to keep up with you. I’m a very small game design youtuber who talks about interactive narrative a lot, and my discord is filled with game devs that appreciate these kinds of designs. Hope to see you there :) https://discord.gg/pXBuebn7WY

Thanks for the play! 😄 btw, I wanted to invite you to my discord: https://discord.gg/pXBuebn7WY It has a bunch of other devs. Not very active all the time but would love to see you there!

This is my favorite game I’ve come across so far. I gave you an almost perfect score but fell just short of the enjoyment (because of some design decisions with the buttons I had to press). But this was amazing. Gave me Pony Island vibes. I LOVE this game and I really want to see more from you. Much love.

I’ve always wanted to make a traffic game in which you play all the people around you. I like the concept and would like to see it more fleshed out. Like with a timer to race against or something similar. I wasn’t sure what the shooting was for? Anytime I shot, I just died. Though, as for the art, the nice thing about the gray block aesthetic is that it makes things easy to identify for sure!

Reminiscent of the Portal Reloaded mod. A real thinker in terms of fourth dimensional thinking. If I had one gripe, it would be stair stepping. Portal has 18 levels dedicated to tutorializing their mechanic, I think we need something similar for this one. Great job on the sound design, I need those clean sound effects to know what I did! Good stuff.

As everyone else said, the art was incredible. Animations were amazing, even the sounds gave a good arcade-like crunch. Did you use jfxr? Great job on it. I like the drawing mechanic in theory but holy hell was it hard for me to get a good grasp on it. It reminded me a bit of Kirby’s Canvas Curse but much more complex.

This was hilarious. Points for the title, cause that’s a fantastic title. I ran the game until the wheel froze.

This was hilarious and weird. I’m not sure I completely understand what you’re going for in terms of theme (narrative or gamejam theme), but I’m here for it and love the absurdity and creativity. And nice to see another game about pelting people in the face with objects :D

I dig the arena gameplay! Legitimately engaging in the combat. MY only feedback is what others have already said. I wanna see more juice! :)

This was incredible. I have a whole YouTube channel dedicated to what I call “empathetic mechanics” and your game hit the nail on the head with this interactive storytelling. Really enjoyed this experience, and really hope to see more like it. I loved how you used an anxious player that wants to skip dialog as an empathetic thread, I loved the use of meta mechanics where the player needs to type and click at almost the same time. So GOOD!

Creativity is on point. I see your influences and like the direction. I wonder what a static puzzle type of dungeon would look like with this game? Forgive me if there was one already, I didn’t get very far.

So fun! It’s amazing how playable this was. Just pickup and know exact what I’m doing. I also really like the design, the way you’ve rewarded the player with a longer tail, making their gameplay more interesting. That’s great design!

Holy crap, what an amazingly original game (I mean that. I’ve never seen anything like this.) This was so great, and as a video editor myself, I loved all the little details you put in. The “trial” version, the filenames, I loved it!

I didn’t get very far, but I’ll be back to play more when I see the walkthrough.

We fellow ferris wheel devs got a stick together! Your game was the cutest thing. I loved the win and lose states 😄

Thanks for playing! We wanted to implement a ragdoll and/or falling animation as well as other animations too! We’ll probably update the game later on to include more fun things.

This was hilarious. I love it

Isn’t hitting people all we want in the end?

Wave 8 for me! I think this has potential to be a pretty addictive game! Thanks for sharing :)

I just saw your game on GMTK Live and I adore the design. Nice job!

Loved the atmosphere, it felt spooky and claustrophobic. I didn’t really understand what to do, but I like the dialog and use of dynamic lighting!

I have no idea what I was thinking. I guess the sentence about parsing got me into thinking that it was some sort of polynomial. Lead me down a strange path 😂

The incremental system really worked in terms of growth and progression. I played for a while, trying to figure out the links between each of the stats. Some of the things didn’t make sense to me like how to grow the running stat. I figured I had to click on “defend the princess” then “flee” which grew my stat once, but beyond that, not so much. I got a TON of money from blacksmithing! But after my level hit 11, I wasn’t sure what else to do since I still wasn’t getting any combat. Or maybe that’s the point? I need to keep trying to fight until I have success? Anyway, thanks for the game! I’m happy to have given it a go :)

I liked the approach! The idea of mini games like this in a progressive over-arching game harkens back to the atari days! I dig the idea. The first mini game could use more granularity in the aiming system and the second mini game was far too sensitive for piloting. I also wasn’t sure if there was an end? I tried landing on all the platforms, and none game me a formal end. Still, thanks for the submission! I appreciate this kind of game and I really hope you continue to make more!

Hey there, I’m on windows and tried to run the web version of your game. I got the host set up but when I launched your HTML, all I got was a GODOT splash screen and a completed loading bar. It just froze that way. I’m not super computer savvy, so I don’t know if I did anything wrong, but just wanted to let you know.

Amazing game! This was so creative, I loved so much about it. I got really stuck at one part because I interpreted the xx(x) as a math problem and went off the rails trying to figure out what it meant 😅 but that’s my bad. I had a little trouble remembering where certain rooms were and how to find that final kitchen. But it was all good in the end. Loved my experience!

Awesome! I just wanna say your username is lovely

Thanks so much for playing!

We were so lucky to have the team we did. Talented Programmer and Artist!

You found our bug! 😖 It’s the one thing we couldn’t find out how to fix.

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing! Glad the throwing mechanic was enough to get you engaged! Hahaha

Nice! Thanks for playing! We almost didn’t do a time loop; originally the game was based on riding the ferris wheel that was left running by the ride operator and trying to get his attention by throwing things. Music was licensed for use from Envato. Worked really well I think!

My fingers hurt lol Loved the game and the awesome dimension swapping mechanic. Really like that meta layer to everything. It creates some much needed depth to the clicker experience.

Thank you so much for playing!
