We'll consider that as using existing assets you own the rights to. There's nothing stopping you from copying the shader line-for-line anyways, so you might as well just use it. As long as they weren't made specifically for this jam, we'll see it as your in-house library of game assets. Keep in mind that it could be hard to make pre-existing assets work with the theme of the jam, so trying to force them into the project could backfire! At the end of the day we just want to see some cool projects made!

Hey, thanks for being interested in the jam! You're not allowed to update the game after the jam's deadline. In your case it could be a few minor fixes, but others will make drastic changes and just keep adding to the game, which makes it so they have more time than others. Of course you can keep working on your project after the jam is over, but you can't submit new versions after the deadline 馃憤
Yes, they would win multiple prizes. If your game is so good that it gets 1st place in art, 3rd place in theme and 2nd place in fun, you deserve to get all three prizes. Of course we hope to see a big variety of winners, but if a game is that good that it wins multiple prizes, it deserves those prizes. 馃憤
