Thanks for playing!

I left a comment on your video but I'll leave one here as well.

First, thanks for playing the game Jon Jon!

Secondly, the game was created over the course of a week and a half as a gag to make fun of EDP445.  So there's a lot of things I didn't create like a checkpoint system because of the game only having one objective.

The AI is very basic.  He randomly spawns in one of the rooms at the beginning of the game.  If he sees you, he will constantly run to wherever he last saw you.  So if you are trying to get rid of him, best thing to do is find some corners to hide around and wait a little bit.  He will probably run to the corner, hang out for a couple of seconds, and then randomly choose a new room to run to.

Also, when searching for evidence, be sure to check out the entire room.  Sometimes the evidence is on the right side of the room and on the floor so it's a little bit harder to see.

Hope this helps!  Again, if this was a game that I planned on updating or making into something better, I'd put some more time into it.  But it's just meant to be a gag game.  If people really like it though, maybe I'll put some more time into it.

Thanks for playing!

I checked it out.  Was entertaining.  Subbed you up.  Thanks for checking out the game!

Glad you like it!  Full version should be releasing at the end of October.

The plans are to make the full version available on Mac.  It may not be quite as ready as soon as the Windows version but I will do what I can.

The full version of the game had all of it's lighting updated including skylights, lightmass volumes, post processing, atmospheric fog, and more.  I have a sample video on my YouTube channel.

Unfortunately, the demo has a small glitch where the flashlight gets really dim due to a battery life mechanic I had in the game but partially removed.  The mechanic would cause your flashlight to start dimming when the battery got low.  After I removed the mechanic, or at least I thought I fully removed it, the demo would automatically set the flashlight to it's lowest possible brightness setting.

Issues are resolved in the full version.   Thanks for trying out the demo!

This game was great.  It was short.. but packed in the excitement and scares.  Really well done.

It's actually already been added in the next version of the game.  So hopefully I can get another demo out very soon.

Very soon.  I don't have an exact date.  But I've been working hard on it and I'm excited to get another update out to everyone.

When a game, especially a "horror" game, can introduce humor into it, I have to check it out.  This game was fun, goofy, and gave me some good laughs.  I love games like these and I recommend you check it out for some quick laughs.

I'm not going to lie... I was skeptical.  Lol.  But this was actually fun and gave me a few laughs.  I felt like I was on a weird acid trip.  Here's my gameplay if you'd like to check it out.

I had fun with this short game.  It was a unique idea and well made.  I really enjoyed it.  Good job!

I had to check this out because it looked interesting and I had a similar idea in mind for a project of my own.   I have to say.. this was a fun game!  And that ending caught me off guard.  I had a good time talking to the customers while throwing their orders at them. Lol.  My first job way back in the day was McDonald's so I had flashbacks I wish not to speak of.  Ha.

I attached my game play.    Keep up the good work!

I love simple little game jam horror games.  When I saw the description, I had to check it out.  It's a very simple game.  You fix a couple things in a haunted house... all with a hammer.  Good for a quick laugh.  I did have one jump scare.  For only having 48 hours to make it, this wasn't bad at all.  I could see this 'ghost repair' concept developed into a larger, more polished game.  Nice work!

I attached my game play video if you'd like to check it out.  It's the last game in the video and starts at 25:58.

After upgrading some PC parts, I was finally able to test out this game.  Turns out... I'm not very good at it. Lol.  I found it difficult to get out of the hallway that leads to the main area / stairs.  He'd always seem to intercept me even if I crouched the whole way.   The game looks good (although the mansion is a recycled asset).  The game is interesting and adding the mic was a nice touch.  I'll definitely attempt this game again in the future and maybe.. just maybe... i'll accomplish something in the game.

I attached my game play.  But there isn't much to see.  Basically me spending a lot of time hiding in the same hallway. Lol.  It's the second game in the video and starts at 15:30.

This was actually interesting.  A quick little shoot-em up game.  Some of the sound volumes were off like the sound of the pistol and enemies were extremely silent. However, after reading the comments it looks like that was intentional.  I like the little humor aspect of it.  If the developer(s) polish this up more and add more levels, it's a game I'd visit again.

Attached is my game play video.  It's the first game in the video.

Interesting game.  I was not expecting that enemy and they jump-scared the crap out of me. Lol.  The game looks good.   The only thing I'd like to see are some checkpoints.. but maybe there are and I didn't get far enough?  Who knows.  Anyways, I recorded my game play if you'd like to check it out.  Keep up the good work!

This game looks INCREDIBLE.  You can tell the developer really knows what he is doing.  All the little graphical details are fantastic and the game play is really smooth.  The game had just the right amount of fright to give you the chills without being over the top.  I hope this is just a demo and it develops into something much larger!

Awesome job.

This game was good.  I often found myself not saying anything in my video because I was so into what was going on.  Good graphics and the sounds fit perfectly. I made the ending way too difficult on myself by not jumping off the ledge when Maras starts chasing you ><.

Keep up the good work!

This game is fun, really well made and has a very interesting concept.  The jump scares were legit and the sounds were amazing.   The only negative I had was the lack of a checkpoint when getting to a new floor but I guess I could always just git gud and not need them.  Keep up the great work!

Night of The Consumers is awesome so I had to check out some of Germfood's other games!  Flesh Birds is a fun take-back to old school style games like Hectic and Doom.  It's surprisingly a lot of fun.  And i'm so glad you put in checkpoints! Lol.  Keep up the good work!

(1 edit)

This game is so well made.  You can tell the developer is a professional and puts time into making it nice rather than just trying to quickly push out a game.  The idea of an escape room style horror game is extremely intriguing and it's a lot of fun.  I'm looking forward to seeing the full version with multiple endings.  Keep up the great work!

I attached my game play video.  It contains spoilers including the password to the computer.  So don't watch if you plan on playing it yourself!

So many people were losing their minds as to whether or not there was something hidden behind the locked door behind the secret wall.   Well I was able to glitch the wall and see what's behind the door!

This game is crazy fun and really funny.  It seems the AI was tweaked a bit as it definitely seems easier to escape them then the last time I played.  Keep up the great work and I can't wait for more updates!

This game was really good.  I like the puzzle aspect of it reminiscent of the Saw franchise.  The graphics and animations were great and the puzzles were well done.  I would love to see a sequel with some more puzzles.  Keep up the good work!

The Black Rose is a loop-style game where the environment is repeated. Each 'loop' provides small changes to the environment and new jump scares while advancing the story.  The graphics and design of the environment was well done.  It looked really good.  The game is really short as it only loops 5-6 times but was still enjoyable!  Plus... every time you loop you got a new batch of french fries!  Hell yeah!

I attached a video of me playing the game.  It is the third game in the video and starts at 15:46

I love these styles of games where humor is added to it.  I loved the art style and the game is fun to play.  The game was short so I really hope this gets expanded into a larger game with different environments like the grocery store, a Chuck E' Cheese style play-place, an office Christmas party, etc...

All in all.. if you are looking for a quick, guilt-free chaos game, then give this one a try.  It's good for some laughs.

I attached a video of my game play.  It is the second game in the video and starts at 8:38.

This game is decent.  It still feels like a work in progress as there is no intro screen and there are a few glitches.  If this is the final version of the game, it's good for some quick action.  It's a typical horror game where the AI chases you as you search for keys to escape.  Not a bad, quick little game.  The Carl animations are decent so if the developer made it himself (as opposed to purchasing on the asset store) then props to him/her.

I attached a video of me playing the game.  It is the first game in the video.

This game was a lot of fun and RAGE INDUCING!  Lol.  I love games with humor and old style graphics.  This game was pretty hard to complete as the AI runs really fast and there are a few minor glitches that can cause some problems.  It seems you can prepare ahead of time by loading the shelves with all but one of each item before activating the customers.  However, recent patch notes seems to indicate that was resolved.

I may or may not have screamed at my monitor a few times in a fit of rage. Lol.

Awesome work.  I hope this game gets expanded or has a sequel!

It was actually refreshing playing a horror game that wasn't simply walking down a dark hallway with a flashlight.  This isn't a jump scare kind of horror game.. this is more of a "creepy story" kind of game.  The fishing is actually fun and I love the old school graphics.  Considering this was made quickly for a game jam, that is even more impressive.  Keep up the good work!  I have attached my game play video.  It is the final game in the video. Starts at 22:08.

Thanks for the suggestion!  Patchy Patients wasn't my type of game so you suggested I try this one.  I'm glad I did.  It was fun and the horror aspect of it was very well done.  (I also checked out Guardian Angels but realized it wasn't recording game audio ><).  Anyways, I enjoyed this game and hope to see more levels.  Here is my play through of the Office level.  It's the first game in the video.

I'd be happy to check them out.  I have some much needed PC upgrades arriving tomorrow so I'll test them out on the new rig.  Thanks for subbing!

I downloaded this because Itch.IO was showing it in the horror section.   It is not really a horror game (unless I missed something).  The game itself is really well made.  It runs very smooth.  The use of colors, mechanics, and particles were spot on.  Overall the game is fun, however, it is not really the kind of games I enjoy.  That isn't me saying the game is bad, it's just not the style of games I play.  However, I can see a LOT of people really enjoying this game including my kids.  Well done with the design and coding for this game.  Keep up the good work!

I did make a quick little game play video of me trying out the game.  It is game #2 in the video.  Starts around 3:03.

I'm not very good, lol.  I think 2:07 was my best time.

This was... interesting.  I wasn't really sure what was happening for the majority of the game as all I was doing was walking.  But the atmosphere was creepy. If you decide to expand this game, it would be nice to see some more interact-able objects to help progress the story instead of just walking. Anyways, I still enjoyed the overall feel of the game.  I made a quick video of it. It is game #3 in the video. Starts at 7:56.

I enjoyed this.  Everything in the game looks good and it runs really smooth.  The only downside is that it was pretty short.  It only took roughly 3-4 minutes to finish.  But overall, it's a nice/quick little game play for all Spongebob fans out there.  I made a video that includes it.  It is the first game in the video.

I really enjoyed this game.  The look was very pleasant and the game play was simple and fun.  I would love to see this game get expanded into something bigger with more obstacles, traps, and enemies.  I think you could do a lot with this.  Keep up the good work!  I made a quick game play video.  It is game number four in the video.  Starts at 14:49.

The worst part about this demo is that it ended!  I wanted to keep playing.  This game looks fantastic.  A lot of effort was put into the environments which really makes the entire experience that much more enjoyable.  I'm really looking forward to the full version of the game!  Keep up the good work!  I attached my game play video.  It's the third game in the video and starts at 13:15.

I enjoyed this game!  It was creepy, fun, and looked good.  I do think things ramped up a little too quickly.  I think you could've dragged out the scares a little more before girlie went batshit crazy (but that could also be me being selfish and wanting to play more).  But either way, it was fun and hope it becomes something more!  Keep up the good work!  I attached my game play video.  It is the second game played in the video.  Starts at 5:45.

I'm a fan of this type of game so I was more than willing to give it a shot.  And I'm glad I did.  This was actually fun and interesting.  The demo was short but that only makes me more interested in a full version.  Keep up the good work!  I attached my game play video.  It's the first game played in the video.
