Thanks a lot for the thoughtful feedback! Glad the Game Boy feel landed—I was going for that early handheld vibe. I totally agree the controls need a clearer explanation; I’ll work on smoothing that out. The scheme itself is inspired by Trax on Game Boy (HAL the Kirby devs, with the little tank), which I always thought was a clever solution for aiming Also appreciate the notes on contrast and background detail—those are spot on.
Thanks a lot for playing and for the great feedback! I’m glad you liked the Game Boy vibe and the character design specially I also like the character and personality. You’re totally right about the early difficulty—it makes sense to give players more room to learn before things get hectic. I’ll keep that in mind as I tweak the early game. Really appreciate your thoughts!
Wow, that’s an incredibly deep breakdown of the game, and I really appreciate how much thought you put into it. It’s super helpful to see exactly where things clicked and where they didn’t, and it gives me a whole new perspective on how players experience it.
I’d definitely love to see the VOD too. Live reactions are so valuable—it’s those moments that really show what’s working and what isn’t. Getting to watch that would be great!
Thanks again for not only playing but also taking the time to write such a detailed explanation. Constructive feedback like this is honestly the best thing I can get, and I’m really grateful for it. Please send me the link once it’s up, I’m excited to check it out!
From what I can see, this game has a lot of comments because it's a great idea and could really be something I would play. However, it's very confusing right now, especially the game mode select screen—it should be simpler. Also, where are the players? At the very least, add red circles for Player 1 and blue circles for Player 2 to make them stand out. Overall, it's a fun concept idea.
