Thanks for playing :) Will apply your suggested fixes

Thanks I think :)

Timer was a good addition imo, it made the game much more fast-paced. I originally intended to automatically generate levels and with that I think timers would've kept it interesting.

It definitely is rage inducing, sorry about that. I was worried my wife might brake the keyboard when she play tested it 😅

@asafigan @vleue @neosam

I got some help on Discord from Francois and I've fixed the issue (turns out I was using physical window size when I should just use width & height).

I've released the fixed version here: https://gajop.github.io/bevy-jam-1/ . It doesn't have any other changes besides the bug fix, but it still might be inappropriate to use it for rating. I think for rating purposes you can still use the current version if you disable UI scaling in your OS.

Great take on the theme.

From a technical standpoint, interested to see how you implemented that leadboard!

I saw your posts on Discord and was wondering what you'd end up with. I'm not sure qualifies as a game, but at least it's pretty! The shading (lack of shadows?) makes it a bit hard to understand the topology of the terrain.

Simple and fun. I liked all the firework explosion. Not sure if my red explosions had an impact but I played under the assumption it made my deflections stronger!

Quite original! Recently upgraded my keyboard so this was a nice exercise

I like all the little transitions between stages (pre battle, post battle, etc.). Adds a bit of polish!

Odd - are you able to rectangle select things?Just clicking on things might not work well, but rectangle select (LMB to select friendlies, RMB to attack enemies) should work.

Definitely not part of the theme - perhaps a Bevy bug or more likely I forgot to account for something. What is your browser?

ZK uses the SpringRTS engine which has requirements listed here: https://springrts.com/wiki/About

You can assume ZK has similar, if not stricter requirements.
