Nice and fun game. I needed to get used to it a bit at first, but once I was in the flow, it was fun to navigate the obstacles. Interesting choice with the overworld. It does not fit together 100% for me, but I can appreciate the skill system. I also found multiple ways of getting off the track and farming the crystals for free. If that is not intended, an invisible collider might be helpful. Overall, I liked the obstacles, and the controls were good too. The generative environment worked like a charm as well. I think this is a very good job.

Picture of me off the track cheesing around:

Nice idea with the color changes and the obstacles that were combined with them. Like many others, I found the “boing” sound very amusing! In total, a very nice platformer with well-implemented mechanics and smooth controls. The only thing that was a bit confusing to me was the boss fight. I didn’t get for a while what I was supposed to do. Overall, great job!

The aesthetic looks really nice! Good implementation of 2.5D. The controls worked smoothly, and the mechanics in general seemed to be well implemented. I couldn't make much sense of the game, to be honest, but I managed to get to a dog room, and I liked the skill tree a lot as well. It also helped me understand the game a tiny bit better. Great job!

Very nice game. I like the atmosphere of it a lot. The art, music, and mechanics give a nice retro/arcade vibe. Big fan! The way you fight and are able to switch masks is fun! I was always looking forward to new enemies! Really nice.

I like the choice of going in a Halloween direction. It fits so well with the theme :) The game looks nice and solid. The upgrades work as intended, too. So far, the game is very simple, but with some more mechanics, this could be a nice little game to play here and there. I enjoyed the bit of fun I got from it a lot.

This was chill and relaxing. I enjoyed this creative approach, and I also liked the fitting narrative. Gaining back memories from pictures is a nice concept. It took me a while to figure out the mask mechanic, though… I like the aesthetics of the game a lot; they add to the chill vibe. Nice choice of SFX as well. Great job.

Nice idea! It was fun to hunt down the killer of my friend by comparing the masks to the hints. The controls also worked very well. Making the rooms a bit more unique would have been nice because orienting was a bit troublesome. Overall, I liked the aesthetics of the game. Great job!

Fun game, especially enjoyed the hook/Spider-Man mechanic. What’s also nice is that both weapons have a clear up- and downside, so it is worth switching between them.

A bug I experienced was in the desert part where the camera moved. I went back a bit and probably hit the collider that adjusts the camera again, and it moved the camera again. Maybe something to look into. Other than that, it is very clean, and I like the simple art style. Great job!

I like the theme of the game and the unique art style. The weapons in the game are also fun to use. I was a big fan of the sword. Making the exploding enemies also damage their own team is a nice touch and was very rewarding when used for my benefit.

Although I enjoy challenging games, this is a bit too rough for me. I would suggest lowering the enemy count for each level and maybe increasing it later on when the player has two good weapons.

Also, the damage indication could be a bit more noticeable for my taste. Maybe an effect on the border of the screen in combination with displaying the current health. There is a lot going on on the screen, and it is easy to miss whether or not I took damage.

I encountered a small bug in the boss room. I got stuck in the door. I think I did not move fast enough into the room, and the door just caught me. Maybe adjust the spawn position there.

The boss is fun and fast to understand since it shares the sprite and abilities of previous enemies but is bigger. I like the choice there. Spawning enemies in the boss room in addition to the boss is also a nice touch, but I would also suggest lowering the number of enemies there.

Overall, it is a fun game and a job well done. I haven’t beaten the boss yet, but I definitely will!

Nice platformer. It took me a bit to manage to beat it. Since I like challenges, I can imagine it might be on purpose, but I feel the hitboxes could be a bit more forgiving. The implementation of the adjustable extra lives is a great idea to balance the difficulty. It can be very frustrating to be stuck at one specific passage though, like me XD.

The passage I got stuck on:
