No idea what's happening, it seems to be a zip issue?
The launcher just sucks in general, and I'm probably going to completely replace come Act II it with an MFC application anyways. In the mean time, I will suggest checking if the directory path to the folder has unicode characters or spaces. The downloader/zip functions don't play nice with paths that have special characters in the name.
The issue about performance is likely due to the graphical elements on screen in the main game. I will make modifications, and release an update that hopefully improves performance. However, I cannot guarantee you improved performance following this update, as we (the whole of the dev team) do not have any hardware that causes such low framerates.
Hmm, that's interesting. I'll look into fixing it, although no guarantees. Most likely I'll wait until Act II to resolve the issue, since I'm planning on rewriting some of the code anyway.
Doll's path is set, I just sent it all over the place. Khan's path is the only one with randomness to it. Also 5AM isn't optional, it's a bug that it was optional, should be fixed though.
I’ll have to check but it’s layered twice over, one version is made of emissive cylinders and the other is an outline that wraps around and behind the cylinders to create a florescent light effect.
Yeah, the cameras are the main complaint, both in the community and the dev team. But I can assure you, you can’t beat the final introduced character without them.
Plus we’re getting most of our ideas from fnaf 1 and 2 mechanics with some custom ones sprinkled in. It makes sense that the cameras wouldn’t be as useful as they ideally would, they weren’t all that useful in fnaf 1 and 2 besides only a few characters.
yeah, the cameras being useless is the main issue. However there is one character that rely’s heavily on the cameras, and gives them *much* more of a use.
