Thanks for the feedback! There actually is a small text notification when a fish dies that shows up in the bottom info bar, but I could definitely make it more prominent. I also plan to add a dying animation where the sink to the bottom instead of just disappearing.

Yeah, I plan to rework placing the reefs. I know it's a pain!
