istg if anyone bots my server i'm never hosting mp games ever again

If you're comfortable enough, I recommend installing the native OS builds of this game (Windows/Linux). The browser version was mostly untested and many of the controls trigger browser shortcuts (such as closing the game).

If you're unable to download the native versions for any reason, please look at the very first post for the browser-safe controls

This is amazing! I genuinely enjoyed the art style and the music. The art kinda reminded me of Kirby's Dream Course for some reason lol. It  meshes really well with the gameplay. The game felt very complete, which is kinda impressive for it being made under one month as well. I got nothing to criticize about this game (other than the music being a tad bit repetitive at times, but it might just be me). Great entry! :D

CONTROLS:
Left-Click: Shoot (shoot at ghost when you get power pill)

Right-Click/Middle Click: Slide (if you hold it!)

BackSlash (\): Pause

Tab: Map (toggle)

You can also wall-jump in the game

Thanks for reviewing my game! :D
BTW you can use the map by pressing Tab. I thought about adding a proper minimap, but it would've been too small due to the screen resolution of the game.

Really liked the premise of the game! I really the idea of having each section of the map kill a certain ghost, and the music was a banger. Although I don't mind the difficulty of the game, I wish the power pill (AKA the volume icon) worked a bit more reliably. Great game!

This might be one of my favorite entries I've ranked so far! The game was really dead on having that 5th Generation Gaming (N64/PS1) aesthetic. I also enjoyed how the music worked in the game, like it goes from playing upbeat music to a more toned song when collecting the power pellet. Stellar entry btw! ^^

TY! :D

Thanks for the feedback! ^^

FYI: The game runs into many issues on web export due since I haven't tested it extensively.

Nice game! It definitely nails the "80s MS-DOS" aesthetic. Well done

Love the art! ^^

What happened to the original ClassBoom?

How yall feeling! :D

yooo!

Yes, I do need a sotry designer for my team! :D

no worries! :D

thanks! :D

Love it! I like the visuals, it gives me late-N64 to early-Wii vibes for some reason.

I love it so far! It's surprisingly polished for a demo, I think you should really turn it into a full game! :D

I posted a tutorial in the description of how to play! :D

Nice! Also impressive that you made this entirely in C.

Your welcome. Also to clarify, I loved the high-speed movement of the character once I got the hang of it!

Had a blast playing this! Although I wish the camera was a bit more adjustable in my opinion. At first I thought the character moved too fast, but once I got into the games, I got addicted to the game. Great job!

what.

rest in piece

Thanks for the feedback! :D

it was for a 1 hour game jam... that I worked for 30 minutes

I updated the description, it should be the right link!

Oh, I must've made it a draft

Nice! Don't have time to look into this today but I LOVE the visuals!

Thanks for playing btw! Also, I posted the wrong link 😭

If you want to play more go to this page (it works only on windows for some reason) https://fun95.itch.io/yolkfolk
